Se fosses meu pai e me desses duas bofetadas obrigava-te a comprares-me o jogo

Final Fantasy IV was the fifteenth best selling title overall for the month of July. The game was the third best selling portable title during that period and had the same placement on the DS chart. Overall, Final Fantasy IV on DS sold 116,200 copies during the July period.
The game's sales were surely satisfying for Square Enix, but they also likely were viewed as icing on the cake for the company considering that Final Fantasy IV for DS sold over 600,000 copies in the Land of the Rising Sun. In Japan, where Final Fantasy is second only to Dragon Quest in terms of fan base, the influence of the game can be seen in how Final Fantasy IV's "Theme of Love" has been taught to school children as part of music curriculum; the game even received a story sequel called Final Fantasy IV: The After that released on mobile devices earlier this year.

One part of the game has remained almost intact from the original: the story. It's hard to imagine JRPGs that aren't heavily character driven, but Final Fantasy IV was part of a new breed when it released in 1991. Rather than focus on some generic, player-generated character, Final Fantasy IV centers around Cecil, who finds his loyalty and his morality at odds during the game's opening act. Through the course of the game we learn about Cecil's relationship with his lover Rosa and strained friendship with Kain while he walks on the path of redemption that will ultimately help save the world.

The marketing campaign for Final Fantasy IV, like most portable releases, wasn't as high profile as its console cousins. However, Square Enix did release a handful of promotional trailers, with the primary spot focusing on the game's principle character, Cecil. Along with hinting at the game's story, the trailers also showed off the fancy new FMV and demonstrated that, in defiance of "tradition," the English voice acting is actually quite good.
alguem ja o viu a venda nas lojas nacionais?
