"We plan to have post launch paid-DLC in the form of car packs," Walke added when pressed on the nature of Heat's post-launch plans. "Honestly, that's it. No loot boxes and the above." The first of these packs will be a 'time-saver' pack that will reveal the location of all collectibles on the Palm City map. Isto? Mas ha ainda uma alma que em 2019 acredite numa unica palavra da EA? Este comentario do reddit resume o que penso sobre isto: Lol I was downvoted on r/needforspeed for calling the developer out when he said the new NFS Heat won't have lootboxes. I said sure you can say that now but can you really promise that 5 months post launch once the game is reviewed and out? I doubt it. Devs can say whatever they want to please fans and build up hype and blind faith but then screw them over post launch. EA, Bethesda, Activision, Ubisoft, WB Games, Take Two are masters at this. The only reason they are saying "no lootboxes" right now is to avoid that in-game purchases label on the game box which they know is a gaining controversy and smart gamers won't buy the product if it has it on there.
