MSI AM2+ motherboard list unveils new Nvidia chipsets
MSI today released a press release to list its AM2+ compatible motherboard line-up. The lists includes boards powered by the AMD 690G IGP and Nvidia's mainstream nForce 560 and nForce 520 but it also unveils the new, unreleased chipsets from both AMD and Nvidia.
While AMD's RD790 and 780 have already been rumored and showcased, Nvidia's nForce 780a and 750a have not been announced by Nvidia and have only been known as the MPC78 series. The 780a is set to power the K9N2 Diamond while the 750a will be featured on the K9N2 SLI Platinum. Tha last, yet unnamed chipset, the MCP78D is rumored to be a new IGP part with similar features as its bigger brothers.
Bets are now open for the RD790 vs. nForce 780a match.
