Director of the Bunker, a base that floats in the satellite orbit, and the person in charge of commanding all YoRHa units. She conducts herself in a level and calm manner, but seems to care about 2B and 9S. It also seems she has some sort of connection to the YoRHa prototype model A2.

Operator 6O / 21O

Communications operators stationed at the Bunker. They are responsible for sending down orders to the automated infantry squad, YoRHa, and information analysis. Their personalities vary by individual. Operator 6O, who is in charge of 2B, is relatively cheerful. Operator 21O on the other hand, who is in charge of 9S, is calm and composed.

—Adam (left)

A mysterious, highly intelligent young man who wears glasses. He has a calm personality, but will take relentless action if it’s for his goal.

Adam’s twin brother. Compared to Adam, he is simple-minded and doesn’t think too much about things. He loves his brother Adam.

Pascal

Despite the fact that he is a machine life-form, he is a pacifist who dislikes conflict, and is exploring the road of peace with machine life-forms who have the same aspiration. He is a highly intelligent machine with an interest in the history of humanity and machine life-forms.

Devola and Popola

Devola and Popola are old-style Androids based at the resistance camp. They know of and feel indebted to their model of machines that ran rampant long ago. They’re unsual within the android community, as they’re model able to consume alcohol.

Emil

The same Emil from the original NieR. Most of his memory is gone due to the long years that have passed. His position in NieR: Automata is unknown.

■ Places

Bunker

The Bunker is the headquarters of the automated infantry squad, YoRHa, which floats in the satellite orbit. From here, the Commander sends down orders to the YoRHa units through Pod transmissions, as well as drops down support materials and weapons.

Resistance Camp

The Resistance Camp is where the Androids that fell to Earth before the YoRHa squad are based. These Androids have organized their own resistance army and lend their support to 2B and 9S as they share a common cause—“for humanity.” Here, you can buy items, strengthen your Pods, and take on sub-quests.

O primeiro tem das melhores histórias e bandas sonoras.

Só a parte da Fyra leva qualquer um às lágrimas. E quando se percebe o jogo noutra perspectiva, melhor ainda.

Uma verdadeira pérola.

Adiante, demo no final do ano:

Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu came with a large batch of new screenshots and information on NieR: Automata, mostly focused on the battle system.

First of all, we learn about heavy and quick attacks. Quick attacks are done with the square button, heavy attacks with triangle, and of course they can be chained in combos.

You can select weapons and weapon sets of up to two, and switch between them dynamically during a combo using the directional buttons on the controller.

Dodge is set on R2, and pressing the button lets you avoid an enemy attack at any time. You can also avoiding by dashing by pressing R2 and a direction on the stick. It’s even possible to avoid in a circular motion. On top of that, if you correctly time the dodge, the character’s body will be engulfed by a light effect creating an invincibility frame and opening for a special counter attack.

For those who aren’t good with action games, the title comes with an “auto mode” (activated with L2), that performs dodges and attacks automatically. As long as you keep moving and you’re strong enough, you’ll win the battle. It’s possible to use auto mode only when the difficulty is set on easy. Auto Mode can be canceled at any time.

You can use the pod to shoot enemies at a distance with the R1 button, and you can lock on target wit L2, but in that case bullet dispersion will be higher. Pods can be upgraded at the maintenance shop, increasing performance stats like attack power by consuming materials and currency.
