Parece k tb vai sair uma Abit AN8 para A64 (socket 754) baseada no chip nForce3 250...
 
"A problem for tweakers of Athlon 754 CPUs is that neither chipset available for the processor - K8T800 or Nforce 3 -- allows you to set AGP and PCI speeds. So, when you overclock, you overclock the frontside bus, but the AGP and PCI devices have their limits.

Well, this is about to change, VIA K8T800 PRO will be enable you to fix AGP and PCI values. This means that your PCI and AGP devices won't be over-overclocked. Bare in mind that you cannot change the multiplier on Athlon 64 or FX CPUs except if you are lucky a journo or industry man that has a rare overclockable multiplier."
 
compre uma board pro PIV qq coisa e aproveite tb pra comprar uma grafica nova. este aproveite é mais um dakeles sem escolha.

por acaso até concordo que num fazia grande sentido ter uma slot AGP e uma PCI-X na mesma placa mas o pessoal num anda a nadar em dinheiro e ate é um bocado complicado comprar uma board dakelas (que num debe custar pouco) e comprar ao mesmo tempo uma pgrafica decente. :(

Bem a nVidia tá a fikar mal, é em graficas e chipset...

13 Abril vamos ver as novas placas, e espero k sejam mesmo muito boas como os velhos tempos.

Qual seria a diferença num 754? 0?

Raptor, está na review do anando a confirmação do pci-lock
 
Vi algures que o Nforce 3 250 vai ser compatível com o socket 754. Portanto é uma questão de aparecerem boards com esse chipset para o socket 757.
Está tudo aberto em relação `AMD. Enquanto não virmos reviews é tudo especulação.
Quanto ao PCI lock parece confirmadissimo.

Claro que a nforce 3 250 vai ser compativel com socket 754. A review do anando é feita nesse socket.

Já editei. São tantos números que às vezes baralho:D
Estou é a gostar do espaço disponível à volta do socket. Porque será:D
