Não sei quando vou ter tempo para instalar os novos drivers...
Já agora, a malta usa o envy? Desistalam e instalam tudo no mesmo boot (não fazem reboots pelo meio?)?
eu ja tinha visto a relase no forum da phoronix mas nem postei porque tirando o suporte a resoluçao que as ultimas drivers nao suportavam isto nao tras nada de novo, basta ver pelo descontentamento do pessoal da phoronix e pelas release notes...
scroll ainda lento, nem as vou instalar continuo com as 7.12 composite of + xgl...
ha 6 meses que nao sai nada de jeito da ati enfim..
O composite + XGL funciona bem em termos de performance?? E se sim, como configurar?
ah e sem esquecer de que com xgl alguns jogos nao dao direito nao sei bem porque mas nada que nao se resolva com um ctrl+backspace e iniciar na sessao gnome de recuso sem xgl

[*] Corruption will no longer be noticed in the lower right corner of the display or on the mouse pointer after the system is running for a long period of time
[*] Connecting a display device that supports 1680x1050 to a system running Linux will no longer result in a maximum display resolution of 1280x1024 only being available
[*] Custom mode lines in xorg.conf will no longer be ignored by the fglrx driver
[*] Suspending to RAM or DISK on kernel version 2.6.23 or later no longer fails

Pois confirma-me isso é que a coisa que mais me irritava era o scroll ficar lento Por acaso tenho queria voltar a ter Ubuntu no portátil mas enquanto esse problema não estiver resolvido acho que não aguento
