nVidia PhysX overwrites Vantage .dll's - Results now removed from Hall of Fame

Using the nVidia PhysX driver changes some of the PPU related Vantages .dll's, which switch the PhysX calculations then on to the GF8/9/GTX GPU regardless if you have PPU installed or not. If you after this install Radeon card, you're out of luck with your PPU, it won't work, the files stay there and try to throw the PhysX stuff over to the GPU but recognizes it's not supported GPU and then CPU will take over.

Não é diferente de um jogo que traga uma versão mais recente de um driver gráfico da Nvidia no DVD (requerida para funcionar correctamente).
Afinal de contas, as DLL's que o 3DMark Vantage usa para processar PhysX são propriedade intelectual da Nvidia (depois da compra da AGEIA)...
