Segundo esta review, a G70 consome MENOS energia do que a 6800 Ultra, apesar do maior nº de transístores (aprox. -10W).

A NVidia ficou contente com os resultados e libertou o pessoal do NDA antes de tempo, pelos vistos.
Aliás, já há placas à venda em mtos sítios... :)
 
Sim tb a explicação para a quebra do NDA, deve-se a já haver placas à venda, acho que é a primeira vez que isto acontece, no dia da apresentação as lojas já terem.
 
Em PT, as lojas do "costume" já têm ?

Já uma hipotética 7600 GTX de 90nm, com 12 pix./4 vertex a 550mhz, 256MB GDDR3 a 550mhz e 128bit a $199 me parece bem aliciante para um pc médio... :D

A ver vamos se me enganei por muito... :004:

NVIDIA SLI available on low-cost 6600, without inter-GPU connector

NVIDIA have just announced SLI support for the entire 6600 range of PCI Express GeForces. The boards don't have the SLI connector on the top edge of the board so the boards get SLI support by passing the SLI data over the PCI Express bus via the root port instead.

The cost of a basic 6600 PCI Express board in the U.K. is around £80. Paired with that is an announcement that nForce4 SLI mainboards will be available for under 100 Euros (~£70) very soon, bringing the entire cost for mainboard and a pair of graphics boards to under £250 for the first time.

It'll be interesting to test standard 6600 in SLI, compared to clocked down 6600 GTs with the connector, and we'll endeavour to do so in the near future.

Aínda os drivers usados nas reviews (77.62) não aqueceram o lugar e já saíram outros...:

FW 77.72 (Beta of course, but who cares, right ?)
