OnePlus Pad confirmed ahead of February 7 event

Following up on yesterday’s news about the long-rumored OnePlus Pad potentially launching on February 7 at the OnePlus 11 global launch we now have proof that the tablet will indeed be presented at the event. OnePlus India has a teaser poster for some of the devices expected to be on stage including the OnePlus 11, Buds Pro 2 earbuds and the rumored OnePlus Pad.

This is the first official teaser for the tablet which has been rumored since 2021. There’s no specs information about the device at the moment though it wouldn’t be surprising to see a rebranded Oppo Pad or Oppo Pad Air given the close ties between OnePlus and Oppo.

OnePlus enters the tablet game with the OnePlus Pad

As expected OnePlus delivered its first tablet today, dubbed simply Pad.

The new offering lands in the premium tablet segment with a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also carries a distinct design, so you'll never mistake it for another maker's slate.

Upfront, the OnePlus Pad offers an unusual 7:5 aspect display - an aspect sitting between 3:2 and 4:3. It's an 11.61-inch 2800x2000px IPS LCD with a variable refresh rate that goes up to 144Hz.

The panel reaches 500 nits and offers solid 1400:1 contrast. OnePlus says the thin bezels allow for a 88.14% screen-to-body ratio.

There back spots a 13MP shooter that's 4K video-capable. There's an 8MP 1080p camera on the front as well.

The OnePlus Pad has four speakers, one for each corner of the tablet, with support for Dolby Atmos. The display supports Dolby Vision.

There's a 9,510mAh battery inside the OnePlus Pad that's good for 14 and a half hours of video streaming and 1 month of standby. It recharges at 67W SuperVOOC speeds and OnePlus touts a full charge in 80 minutes. OnePlus offers seamless transitions between the Pad and OnePlus smartphones including the option for the tablet to use the phone's network connection to access the internet.

The OnePlus Pad comes in a OnePlus 11-matching Halo Green color and a 'Star Orbit' engraving, which issues etched lines in the CNC machined aluminum back panel, that flow from the rear-facing camera.

You can buy an additional Magnetic Keyboard, a Folio case, and the OnePlus Stylo - a stylus for note-taking and drawing on the OnePlus Pad.

The OnePlus Pad will go on pre-order in Europe, India, and North America this April. There's no pricing information just yet.
 
OnePlus Pad early bird offer is now live with free accessories

Back in March, OnePlus promised us an "amazing gift" we would love that would be on offer once pre-orders start for the OnePlus Pad on April 10. Well, guess what? Today is April 10, and the early bird offer for the company's first tablet is now live. So let's see what's what.

If you pay a €99 deposit before 10:59 AM CEST on April 25, you will reserve a OnePlus Pad unit. Not just that, but you're getting a free OnePlus SUPERVOOC 80W adapter, as well as one of the following: a OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard worth €149, a OnePlus Stylo worth €99, or a OnePlus Folio Case worth €59.

On April 25 at 11 AM CEST, the full price of the tablet will finally be revealed. That's when you can decide to move ahead with your order or ask for a refund of your deposit. If you do decide to go through with it, you'll need to pay the full balance before April 28 at 10:59 AM CEST to secure the tablet and the aforementioned freebies.

According to the OnePlus website, the OnePlus Pad will only be offered in one configuration, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and in one colorway: Halo Green.

The OnePlus Pad comes with 67W fast charging support for its 9,510 mAh battery, which takes it from zero to full in "just over 60 minutes", an 11.61" 2000x2800 7:5 ratio 144 Hz LCD screen, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, and it runs Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 on top.
 
Não parece nada mal… finalmente começamos a ver mais tablets de jeito no lado Android. Durante anos só se via Samsung e mesmo a, de lutar muito contra aquilo que o Android oferecia. Parece que esse lado está mais organizado e vamos ter este tablet, o da Google e da Samsung a fazer frente o iPad.
 
Do que andei a ver parece-me que a melhor relação qualidade/preço deverá andar entre este e o Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro (apesar dos ecrãs).
Fico um bocado na dúvida.

Parece o melhor Android relação qualidade preço.
Os Xiaomi's pad 6/pro ainda não saíram na Europa, não se sabe o preço que terá.

Os ecrãs falas por causa do brilho? 500 nits parece pouco quando comparados ao que os smartphones têm, mas nas reviews que vi contra outros tablets os nits dos outros eram semelhantes.
 
Pois não, mas já consegues ter o Pad 6 Pro de alguns sites chineses, por 450 € +- e o de 256 gb, só tem é 1 ano de garantia :/
Em processamento o Xiaomi é melhor.

Os ecrãs estava a falar por causa da malta que se queixa que não é oled / amoled, mas como o uso seria mais para casa / trabalho ocasional acho que não faria muita diferença.

EDIT: Bem, por acaso passei no site da samsung sem querer só para fazer a comparação de preço e vi que acabava hoje a promo que eles tinham em vigor e acabei por sacar um S8+ 256GB por menos de 600 € (588) + capa com teclado por 100€ + buds2pro por 113€, está resolvido o assunto para mim :p

Já existiam a Xiaomi Pad 5, as Lenovo.
Mas sim o investimento está a crescer, estou a ver muita gente com tablets e também para miudos se entreterem. As apps do Android é que têm de melhorar.

Na minha Lenovo Tab 10 plus 3 gen o ecran é quase 500 nits por isso a critica faz algum sentido uma vez que estas são bem mais caras - mais do dobro - e quase uns 2 anos depois. Dá para estar na varanda à sombra, mas nem pensar ao sol.

Sim, jaá existiram algumas apostas aqui e ali, mas os devs só vão fazer apps se virmos uma aposta constante do mercado e felizmente parece que estamos a começar a ver isso. É uma questão de tempo agora
 
Este tablet tem uma função de partilha de dados top, muito melhor que o tradicional hotspot,não sei se outra marcas têm, infelizmente acho que só funciona com smartphones Oneplus.

Ainda oferecem 1 de 4 acessórios, sendo a capa com o teclado um desses 4.
Tanto eu como a minha mulher temos oneplus.

Vou querer usar o tablet para fotografar tethered (seja com USB OTG seja wireless).

Parece boa escolha? Há sempre o "eterno" xiaomi para confundir as contas, mas tendo tudo no ecosistema da oneplus, dava uma oportunidade a este.

Edit: é possível ter vários utilizadores?
 
A mim parece-me melhor que o Xiaomi pad 6.
É superior em quase tudo.

O único ponto menos bom é a entrada usb-c 2.0. (o mi pad 6 tem 3.2)

Tendo em conta que tens smartphone Oneplus, tens a vantagem de partilhar rede/dados como mostra no vídeo acima.

@Bullit , eu não vou fotografar com o tablet. Eu vou usar o tablet para controlar a máquina fotográfica (algo que já faço com o smartphone). Mas vai dar-me jeito ter um ecrã maior.
