The advertised battery life on the OnePlus Watch is two weeks with normal use. Being a OnePlus device you also get Warp Charge which promises a week’s usage on a 20-minute top-up.

The OnePlus Watch comes in silver and black colors and retails for $159/€159/INR 16,999. First sales begin on April 14. OnePlus also teased a Cobalt Limited Edition version which has a golden hue and is set to arrive later this year.

OnePlus Watch is coming early next year, CEO confirms

Looks like the mythical OnePlus Watch won't continue to be vaporware for much longer. The company's CEO and co-founder, Pete Lau, has confirmed on Twitter that the smartwatch will be released early next year.

This follows a tweet from OnePlus in October when it was revealed that the first sketches of a smartwatch were created inside the company all the way back in 2015. So it's definitely been a very, very long time coming.

According to prior rumors, the OnePlus Watch might be round, in which case we wouldn't be at all surprised if it had a similar design to the vivo Watch, but hopefully with a Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform. Apparently we won't have to speculate for much longer, as the official launch is coming soon.

@mesquia

  • What is the processor used on the OnePlus Watch?
The OnePlus Watch uses a three-chip combination solution - ST32 + Apollo 3 + Cypress. The ST chip has strong performance and is responsible for the interactive interface of the UI. The display is also processed by the ST chip, giving users a smooth system experience.

The Apollo 3 chip is a low power consumption chip. As a platform for various sensors, it supports the OnePlus Watch to stay online for extended periods of time, which is convenient for users to record activity and health data for a long time.

Cypress is a professional communication chip that supports the Bluetooth call and Bluetooth music functions of the watch.

The three-chip combination solution, with each chip playing its own role, helps maximize system efficiency, reduce power consumption and finally achieve the co-existence of a long battery life and high frame display.

Keep Calm
