I hope all of you aren’t tired of testing just yet. Because mere hours after releasing the previous one, here is yet another Opera snapshot (YAOS) for testing!

For FreeBSD and Linux, we have numerous font fixes, improvements to X11 mode, and the KDE file selector freeze is fixed.

  • The User Agent states two different Presto versions
  • Icon replacements for internal pages are stretched in the tab hover previews
  • Java is not working on FreeBSD/Linux

A new batch of bug fixes is ready for testing. Pay particular attention to URL and file encoding/decoding, and watch for regressions there.

Please try to keep comments on-topic, relevant, and brief. Avoid repeating things, and take discussions to the forums or private messages. It is not necessary to quote the full comment if you do find it necessary to respond to someone. Too many comments can make it difficult for us to keep on top of things, and that means that we could miss out on important problem reports.

Bom tem vindo a melhorar muito mas ainda tem uns bugs chatos no youtube um dos bugs corregidos foi que já se pode ver em full screen agora é só aguardar a correcção dos bugs e temos mais um excelente browser para Linux.

Saturday Snapshot

It's a rainy Saturday here in Oslo, so it's a good opportunity to release a snapshot.

This build contains quite a few fixes. Various crashes have been fixed, as well as some Dragonfly and scope protocol issues. We've also been working on some RTL/BiDi things.

There's good news for Linux users: Java should now work again!

We've also added the ability to show suggestions in the search field. You can try it with Wikipedia and Yandex for now. The address bar and find bar have also received a few fixes. You will notice that the search field in the page find toolbar flashes red when there are no matches, for example. Single-domain intranet servers will now be stored in Opera's preferences rather than relying on the typed history.

Note: There is no Mac build for this snapshot. It may have to wait until Monday.

HTML5, and then some

The web is moving quickly these days, and Opera would like to stay at the forefront of open web standards. In this build we have added four features related to HTML5 and other open standards, and an update for a previous implementation:

We have also added sets of specific fonts to be used for CJK web sites, which should improve readability. We would appreciate your feedback on this.


In addition to these new/improved features there are quite a few bug fixes for Linux/FreeBSD. Mac users will notice that plug-ins will generally perform better too. Take a look at the changelog for more information.

Note that there are no Linux PPC builds for this snapshot.

E aí está a RC1. Não se deixem enganar pelo changelog, já saíram vários snapshots com várias correcções. É um bom avanço para os utilizadores de Linux que passam a ter as versões sincronizadas com Mac e Windows.

This is a release candidate for 10.60 final on Windows, Mac and Linux/FreeBSD.

This is Opera 10.60 Release Candidate 3.

Unless any major new issues are found, this will most likely be released as Opera 10.60 Final on Windows, Mac, Linux and FreeBSD. With your help we can do the final testing before release.
Fingers crossed, this latest version of the fastest browser on earth will soon be available to everyone else!

Com poucas alterações mas mais um passo rumo à final.
 
Para mim não me convence mesmo nada... para além de achar a interface um verdadeiro aborto no que usabilidade diz respeito (mts clicks para aceder a certos sítios e fraca flexibilidade de alteração de algumas coisas...)

E para mim o mais grave mesmo é ainda a falta de suporte para pkcs#11 o que em muitas situações se torna num browser que simplesmente não faz o necessário pois autenticação com smart cards e afins é para esquecer.

Já mudei fonte nao resulta, reinstalei nao resulta, no opera 10.10 fica bom..
Ja instalei a versão do 10.60 tar.gz mesma coisa..
