Arcania: A Gothic Tale is the fourth installment of the Gothic series, and the first one being developed by Spellbound instead of Pyranha Bytes. Arcania is scheduled to be released in Winter 2009, although the official date hasn't been officially confirmed.

ArcaniA: A Gothic Tale is set in a rich world that invites the player to explore all of its innumerable attractions and details. Different climate zones, abundant flora and fauna, subterranean vaults, and cities and castles with unique architecture await the adventurous player. Clouds darken the skies, weather effects such as wind and heavy rain influence the game world, keeping it endlessly fascinating with its amazing graphics, day and night cycles, and a stunning display of light and shadow. Wonderfully atmospheric music and top-of-the-line sound effects create a truly immersive playing environment. A multitude of entertaining and challenging quests, challenging combat, mysterious NPC characters and a sophisticated plot guarantee many hours of highly entertaining gameplay. The Southern Islands await!

tinha visto um artigo sobre este numa revista alemã.
pelo menos estes não parecem estar a fazer os assets e tudo primeiro e a engine e o resto só depois. vão evitar a miriade de bugs que os outros gothic tinham
 
Este é mais um que não me escapa. :D

Já tenho todos os outros títulos da saga, e são jogos muito bons se tivermos paciência, e dispostos a passar por cima de algumas questões menores.

Já tinha aqui o Gothic 3 parado há algum tempo, mas decidi instalá-lo há dias, juntamente com a última patch, e para já estou a adorar. Imenso para fazer, mapa enorme, gráficos engraçados, quests variadas, liberdade de escolha, etc. Só peca por ainda existirem alguns bugs, mas nada de especial.
 
ah não sabia. vou ter de ler o artigo na revista de PC que acabei de comprar.

acho engraçado ler agora que o Gothic 3 estava cheio de bugs e depois pensando para trás lembro-me de eles falarem de terem todos os assets e tal, só faltava fazer cdigo para tudo funcionar in-game. faltava pouco tempo para o release mas não estavam preocupados porque era a maneira deles fazerem jogos :P
 
Se estás a falar da Demo, sim poderás jogar offline, a não ser que sejas steam e mesmo assim existe exepões para offline na steam.
