Activision has officially revealed that the recently announced Return to Castle Wolfenstein add-on will go by the name of Enemy Territory. Details inside 15:51 After wading through Return to Castle Wolfenstein - at least, the single-player mode - we've all been hankering after more BJ action, so the news that crawled out of the E3 woodwork last week about an expansion being on the cards was very welcome indeed. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory will update the first-person shooter with new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer class in the shape of the covert-ops specialist, a brand new single-player episode and finally, something that fans appear to have been crying out for for some time, full bot support in multiplayer. There will be around 10 new multiplayer maps in total, some of which will be re-workings of levels from the original single-player game, and along with the new covert-ops class - a sneaky git who can disguise himself by stealing and donning enemy uniforms and carries a silenced Luger pistol and the Snooper rifle - alterations are apparently being made to existing classes as well. The engineer especially will be getting a substantial makeover, and will now come with a grenade launcher, land mines and the ability to build structures such as bridges, guard towers and machine gun nests. Little is currently known about the new single-player episode, although it is expected to contain two or so missions that span roughly 10 levels, similar in number to the multiplayer map offerings. As for full bot support, it means that gamers will be able to play/practice all of Wolfenstein's multiplayer modes solo, thereby avoiding the annoying chit-chat and insult-hurling that always accompanies online gaming. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is expected by the end of the year.
