A minha expectativa com este K30 já só passa por ver se a Xiaomi consegue concentrar neste tudo aquilo que é possível estragar, para depois não sobrar nada para os modelos que se seguem... :D
 
Redmi K30 4G specs and new live image pop up

The Redmi K30 is coming to succeed the popular K20/Mi 9T lineup and needless to say expectations are high. We first heard about it last month at a Xiaomi presentation in China and since then the rumors and leaks have been coming in bunches.

The device will likely come in more than one configuration including a 5G version. Last week we saw some live images of the device alongside a certification listing which confirmed it's coming with 27W fast charging and a 120Hz screen.

Now, we get a preliminary spec sheet for the 4G version of the K30 which comes from a reputable source in China alongside an in-hand photo of the device. It will come with a 6.6-inch LCD with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 20MP selfie cam with a 2MP depth helper in the oval punch hole located in the top right corner. The panel will sport a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint reader.

The spec sheet also reveals a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main shooter aided by an 8MP telephoto module, 13MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP depth helper. Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 730G paired with 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage for the base version.

The battery is rated at 4,500 mAh and will come with a 27W fast charger. Other extras include NFC, IR blaster and a headphone jack. The software front is covered by MIUI 11 which sits on top of Android 10. Pricing is believed to start at CNY 1,999 ($284) with a tipped launch on December 10.
 
Embora seja pouco relevante para já, o chip 5g integrado no Snapdragon 765G é mais lento que o modem independente no 865. Faz sentido e provavelmente a Mediatek arriscou mais mas pode ter outros problemas ao integrar o 5G no SOC topo de gama.

Qualcomm revealed that the 765 chips will have an integrated Snapdragon X52 modem with up to 3.7Gbps downloads, supporting both sub-6GHz and millimeter wave networks. This is notably slower than the peak speeds of Snapdragon X55 modems, but a lot faster than top 4G modems. There will also be a 5 TOPS version of the fifth-generation AI chip, as well as 4K HDR video capture.

Até vejo algumas qualidades e o PVP chines parece porreiro para o que entrega mas simplesmente não consigo gostar deste K30 e agora ainda tenho o ecrã não ser AMOLED para juntar à lista... :D

Mas vá lá, pelo menos não o lançaram com MediaTek. :-D
 
Redmi K30 and K30 5G arrive with 6.67" 120Hz display and 64MP quad camera

After several teasers, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi today unveiled the Redmi K30 and the Redmi K30 5G, which boast 6.67" 120Hz displays and sport 64MP cameras on the back.

Redmi K30 5G

The Redmi K30 5G is the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC which brings in 5G connectivity to the device, making it the first Redmi smartphone to support the next-gen network.

The smartphone boots Android 10-based MIUI 11 and comes in four memory versions - 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.

The Redmi K30 5G is built around a 6.67" LCD that has a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is another first for a Redmi smartphone.

The display also has a pill-shaped punch hole in the top-right corner for the 20MP selfie camera joined by a 2MP depth sensor.

Around the back, we get a quad camera setup aligned vertically in the center. It's a combination of 64MP main (Sony IMX686), 8MP ultrawide (120 degrees FOV), 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor modules.

The Redmi K30 5G is the first smartphone to sport a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor.

The smartphone doesn't have a fingerprint reader on the back because it's embedded in the power button on the right side.

The K30 5G comes with a copper tube for liquid cooling and features dual-frequency GPS and Bluetooth 5.1. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and comes in four color options - Blue, Red, Purple, and White.

Redmi K30

The Redmi K30 has the same design as the K30 5G, but there are some differences between the two.

The K30 has a Snapdragon 730G SoC at the helm and doesn't support 5G. It also comes with a downgraded 2MP macro camera at the back and supports slightly slower 27W charging.

Besides, the K30 gives dual-frequency GPS a miss, comes with Bluetooth 5.0, and is only offered in three colors - Blue, Red, and Purple.

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi K30 starts at CNY1,599 ($230/€205) while the base variant of the 5G version costs CNY400 ($55/€50) more. You can check out the table below for more details about the pricing.

The Redmi K30 5G will be available for purchase in China in January 2020, but the K30 will go on sale from December 12. There's no word on the availability of the K30 series in other markets.
