Poco X3 NFC is official with Snapdragon 732G, aggressive price

The long-awaited midranger from Poco is finally here - say hello to the Poco X3 NFC. Yes, the official name of the phone has near-field communication in its name but has plenty of other cool specs worthy of praise.

The X3 NFC comes with Snapdragon 732G chipset by Qualcomm, making it the first in the world with that platform, and the company claims it is “the most powerful Snapdragon 700 series 4G processor to date”.

The front panel of the phone is a massive 6.67” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 screen ratio. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth gaming, and the selfie camera is hidden behind an unobtrusive punch hole in the top center.

The snapper itself is 20 MP f/2.2 with some pixel binning technology for better selfies in daylight.

The cameras on the back are the true X factor of this midranger. The Poco X3 NFC has a 64 MP main cam with a Sony IMX682 sensor behind the f/1.73” aperture and 6P lens. There is also a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle cam with 119-degree FoV.

The other two cameras are 2 MP f/2.4 - one for closeup shots, the other is a depth sensor to assist the portrait photos. Poco is bringing some AI features like Skyscaping 3.0, the obligatory Night Mode, ShootSteady video to artificially stabilize any clip.

Another feature of the Poco X3 NFC that is truly exciting is the massive 5,160 mAh battery. It comes with 33W fast charging and it ships with the proper 33W charger in the box. There is a USB-C port on the bottom and 3.5 mm audio jack next to it.

If you prefer to listen to music on the speakers of the Poco X3 NFC, we hope you do it in your own space. That way you’ll truly appreciate the dual stereo speakers - the earpiece, acting as a top speaker, comes with a 4cc-equivalent cavity, and there is another one on the bottom, a 1cc-equivalent.

Aside from the obvious NFC from the name, other connectivity options also include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a dual-SIM tray. The second slot is hybrid to accommodate a micro SD card with up to 256 gigs of storage. The phone is IP53 compliant for water and dust splashes, has a Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and a “polycarbonate” (read plastic) panel on the back.

The Poco X3 NFC has with LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus - that includes a copper heat pipe and a graphite sheet for effective internal cooling and heat dissipation. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as a power key.

The Poco X3 NFC will arrive in two memory variants - 6/64 GB and 6/128 GB. It will come in either Shadow Gray or Cobalt Blue and will cost just €229/€269. Availability begins tomorrow, September 8, will continue through September 11, and early bird units will be even cheaper - €199 or €249, depending on the storage.

Poco X3 is officially arriving on September 7

Qualcomm and Poco announced the new X3 phone will be the first with Snapdragon 732G chipset, and now we know exactly when it's coming - September 7 at 12 noon UTC. The brand confirmed the date on its social media pages and revealed it will be an online launch event.

Interestingly enough, the phone is called Poco X3 NFC and the moniker also appeared at the Bluetooth SIG website, where the device with model number M2007J20CG was certified. This raises the question of whether the company will have another version of the X3 without near-field communication.

The phone also appeared on Geekbench with 6 GB RAM and Android 10. The Snapdragon 732G is codenamed “surya” and reaches 571 with a single core and 1766 with multiple cores. Looking at our database, the CPU results are unsurprisingly similar to the Snapdragon 720G and Snapdragon 730G, however, the difference between the chips should mostly boil down to the GPU - something Geekbench is not measuring.

Última edição:
E deve vir com amoled 90hz ou 120hz segundo os rumores anteriores e pequeno teasers. A ver se é um lançamento global mas pelo nome só deve ser lançado no mercado Indiano como o poco x2

Poco X3 leaks in full hands-on video, pricing also surfaces

The Poco X3 NFC smartphone is going to arrive on Monday but a hands-on video popped up a bit early from the Spanish-speaking website Tecvideos TV, giving us the full details on the device. Meanwhile, a separate leak gave us a rough idea on its price.

The full YouTube hands-on was taken down since, but deleting stuff from the internet is hard so here go some screenshots.

This time the Poco phone won’t be a rebranded Xiaomi device - it will be an entirely new handset with four cameras and the LED flash lined up in an X-formation. It will cost PHP10,990 ($225/€190) but there will be a so-called Premium Version, likely with more storage, for PHP12,990 ($265/€225).

The video explains in depth all the neat features of the phone, as well as the most important specs. It will have a Snapdragon 730G chipset, and this unit has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

The front features a 6.67” LCD with one punch hole for the 20MP selfie camera, while the fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as a power key.

The reviewer says this panel comes with Full HD+ resolution and shows the 120Hz refresh rate toggle, while the protection is Gorilla Glass 5.

Due to us not paying attention during Spanish classes back in school, it is a bit hard to understand the fine details of the review, but we do understand the battery is over 5,100 mAh, the biggest power cell in a Poco smartphone ever. The main camera on the back will be 64MP with f/1.79 aperture and will support 4K at 30 fps video recording.

Começa a roçar o ridículo.
