O Anando foi convidado por uma companhia (não diz o nome) "da qual já não houve falar há algum tempo", a fazer um voo para San Francisco, para estar presente numa conferência privada que supostamente vai apresentar algo novo.. (

O pessoal da nvnews já mostrou a sua opinião no assunto:
Time to put on the speculation hat for a moment. In Anand's recent sub $200 article, he made small mention of a "3rd player" coming back to the 3D scene.
This morning, Anand left a small message, stating that he was flying out to San Francisco for less than 1 day to see "something special."
He then follows that up by saying that, should that "something special" turn out to be impressive, he will make a followup post (presumably Friday).
Can this be the Matrox chip? Might it be 3DLabs? Perhaps it's nVidia or ATI?
I would think, at first, that it couldn't be Matrox, simply because of the geographic location; however, on second thought, if Anand had said he was going to Montreal, it would totally point to Matrox since...well, who else is in Montreal, Canada?! My gut feeling is that Matrox is showing their new tech. to a select audience.
If you recall, I made a post about 2 weeks ago or so, having spotted a thread @ the MURC in which some magazine journalist claimed to be contacted by Matrox, and invited to attend "something" in mid-April...and looking at my watch, it all seems to make sense now

Eu vou pôr 9 hipóteses:
=»Outro chip qql da nVidia (muito pouco provavel.. acabaram de lançar as GF4, e a recém-chegada Ti4200 já dá cabo da relação qualidade/preço da R8500...)
=»RV250 da ATi (é verdade que já não há leaks de informação sobre a RV250 há bastante tempo)
=»Parhelia da Matrox (provavel..)
=»SiS Xabre (tb bastante provável)
=»XP4 da Trident (já foi anunciado, não era surpresa nenhuma. mas tb é um facto que ainda ninguem viu a performance
=»Kyro III (alguem que tenha finalmente comprado a powervr...)
=» Athlon 0.13 mícrons
=» Intel er.. qql coisa..
=» Outra coisa qql
Isto provavelmente sabe-se pra semana, mas até lá gostava de saber as vossas especulações, ou opiniões
