iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Service Program for No Power Issues

Apple has determined that certain iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices may not power on due to a component that may fail. This issue only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between October 2018 to August 2019.

If you believe you have experienced this issue, please use the serial number checker below to see if your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus is eligible for repair, free of charge.

Finding your serial number is easy. See how.

Note: No other iPhone models are part of this program.

Service Process
Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider to have your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus serviced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program.

If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact Apple Support.

Before service, backup your iPhone to iTunes or iCloud. Learn more about preparing your iPhone for service.

If your iPhone has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the service. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.

Additional Information
Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. For iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus devices purchased in EEA member countries, service is available in other EEA member countries.

If you believe your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus was affected by this issue, and you paid to repair your device, you can contact Apple about a refund.

This worldwide Apple program doesn't extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Your consumer law rights are unaffected by this program.

The program covers affected iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices for 2 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
