Microsoft is giving away The Handsome Collection on Xbox One at the moment. The collection includes both the remastered versions of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

The free game is part of Microsoft’s multiplayer “all access” weekend, running between now and Oct. 30. Gamers can play online free without subscribing to Xbox Live.

Both games are really good, assuming you enjoy loot-heavy first-person-shooters and Gearbox’s sense of humor.

Even if you don’t, this is a $60 bundle that costs you nothing. You literally have no reason not to download this unless you don’t have an Xbox One.

In any case, consider this a public service announcement. You’re welcome.

Earlier today some people noticed that you could grab Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free on Xbox One. This was no mistake; Xbox are offering both the game and a weekend of free multiplayer gaming.

The offer only lasts until October 30 – so get over to Microsoft.com and claim it now! Borderlands: The Handsome Collection contains both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel along with all DLC's and extra content.

It is a rare occurrence but Microsoft do every so often offer a free game exclusively for a weekend. This comes only a few days after the announcement of November's Games with Gold. Including Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Murdered: Soul Suspect.

So if you were somehow running out of games to play in amidst of all the large AAA releases Microsoft has you covered.

Outros dizem q e mesmo so no fim de semana, não sei porque nao explicam na pagina da ms e so na store. na pagina diz FREE ou seja gratuito nao diz dias para jogar ou quer que seja. Muito Mau.

PS: Quando se faz o download desses jogos gratuitos durante o fim de semana eles vao para a nossa biblioteca ou seja se nao fizermos o download fica disponicel no PRONTO A INSTALAR? É que o borderlands ficou no PRONTO A INSTALAR ai carreguei para instalar.

EDIT: Na Pagina do jogo aparece o preço, mas se for a borderlands 2 diz COMPRADO e no PRE-SEQUEL diz COMPRADO.
