As if there wasn't enough controversy with Grand Theft Auto IV, it seems the PlayStation 3 is going to be getting even edgier in the future.
According to SCRAWL, developer Running With Scissors has revealed that Postal III will soon be coming to the PS3. During the initial announcement for the game, in which it was only set for the Xbox 360 and PC, Running With Scissors CEO Vince Desi said they were "seriously considering" a PS3 version, and now it seems this project is a go. This is the kind of news that's going to intrigue many gamers and annoy many politicians.
"We are now in the early stage of designing POSTAL III for the PS3," said Desi. "Every developer has their own approach, so while we started first on the Xbox 360, we are now committing to the PS3 as well, and hopefully who knows maybe even the Wii."
We have no idea what kind of audience they'll be catering to on the Wii, and we doubt that system has the capacity to handle Postal III, but that's not for us to decide. The bottom line is that this massively controversial shooter is indeed headed our way, and we'll keep you apprised of any new developments. Here's hoping it hits in time for the holidays...
