.hack//Link game headed for PSP

The eagle-eyed folks at PSPHyper have spotted what appears to be indication that a game based on the manga .hack//Link will be coming to the Sony PlayStation Portable soon.

The listing, seen on a release schedule in this week's Dengeki PlayStation magazine, categorizes the game as an ARPG. CyberConnect2 seems to be the development studio working on the game. They've been responsible for the bulk of .hack games after all.

Incidentally, the CyberConnect2 website is currently showing a countdown ending in two days. Could this pertain to the game's announcement?

Aqui está um scan sobre o dito jogo ;) Se for o anúncio que está no countdown, então mais uma vez não valeu a pena fazer "teasers" do género :P

O jogo é baseado no manda com o mesmo nome. Detalhes para já não são conhecidos..

.hack//Link official site launched

The countdown came to a close, and the CyberConnect2 site saw the launch of the official site for .hack//Link. So the rumors going around were true after all - the manga is gonna have a PSP game.

Since the site is still new, there's hardly anything there at the moment. Well there's a creator message, a message board, and news that .hack//Link's first promotional video will be out by January 23rd.

Why not check it out for yourself? Here's the link to .hack//Link's official site.

Screenshots for .hack//Link on PSP revealed

CyberConnect2 wants a piece of the Dissidia pie, taking their own cross-universe (more specificially, cross-World R:X) characters into one big brawler's day out on an action RPG arena.

To its own credit, .hack//Link looks quite impressive, even more so since it's not your average .hack title. Breaking free of the usual cutscenes, they're is using a more manga comic-style cutscene approach - we see that in some of these screens. Also, the pairing system of attacks looks ever so neat-o. See Tokio and Haseo's Cross Rengeki smasher below.
