Seguindo a ideia dada pelo I_Eat_All, crio este tópico de forma irmos colocando informações acerca de um possível remake do primeiro jogo da saga com o mesmo nome. As informações são muito escassas mas, eu que por acaso nunca joguei o primeiro Persona, caso ele venha a re-editado, será compra certa.

Persona a caminho da PSP?

Segundo uma revista de Hong Kong, um remake de Persona, lançado originalmente na PSOne, pode chegar em breve à portátil Sony.
A revista, GameWave, foi a mesma que avançou em primeira mão a existência de Disgaea 2 Portable e Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield para a PSP vários dias antes do seu anúncio oficial. Como tal, alguma credibilidade deve ser dada pois esta revista é conhecida por avançar informações sobre jogos PSP.
Segundo a revista, a Atlus prepara um remake com novas personagens e novas secções de história tendo data de lançamento para o Japão a 30 de Abril. Vamos aguardar por informações oficiais.

Boas scans, só é pena serem em jamponês mas já era de esperar. Será que vais sair nos U.S. pouco depois de sair no Japão? Isto, claro, partindo do princípio que será por esta ordem de ideias..
 
venha ele, pena que é uma port e não um remake, espero que o rebalancem bem para não mostrar tanto a idade como o original (já vi pelos scans que mantiveram as porções de dungeon crawling em first person), os avatares também precisavam de um bump valente para pelo menos terem a qualidade de outlines/shading do Persona 2, que espero que façam; isso e a coerencia dos mesmos por exemplo o Philemon do Persona 1 tem um aspecto completamente diferente do existente nos Persona's 2 e no entanto é o mesmo individuo (já para não falar dos overhauls das personagens principais do persona 1 quando reaparecem nos jogos seguintes)

Espero que se livrem do worldmap em 3D arcaico não texturado, espero que se livrem dos loadings e espero que se livrem do slow down. Espero que a Atlus não altere as personagens de novo e espero desta ver ter a Snow Queen Quest. Espero também que re-escrevam todo o script para os standards de hoje e a ter em conta o quão a série evoluiu.

E... quanto às cutscenes, parecem estar a substituir os FMV's do original mas são CGI estilo Devil Summoner, o que é pena, preferia algo nas linhas do Persona 2, 3 e 4.
 
This is Persona for PSP

From the looks of this new trailer, Persona is more a remake than a simple port to PSP. The classic PS1 game is being revived on Sony's handheld with new visuals and brand new anime cutscenes. It looks impressive, to be sure, but we're wondering if the somewhat archaic gameplay of the original game will be updated in any way to make it more accessible for the masses.

texturas, cenários, avatares e sprites está tudo igual a diferença está nas caixas de texto e hud e nos fmv's. é uma enhanced port, nas linhas do Final Fantasy Tactics PSP, mas longe de um remake.

Provavelmente vêm a seguir se este vender em quantidades aceitáveis.

Pessoalmente face aos Persona's 2... não acho que precisem de ser refeitos; embora uma re-release os faça chegar a mais pessoas, o que é positivo; mas fora isso... são jogos incrivelmente actuais, ao contrário deste, diga-se.

Is Persona PSP is remake? An enhanced port? Look at the additions and decide for yourself. The first thing I noticed was the new battle interface. It looks more like Persona 3 with the character portraits on the bottom and moon icon in the top right hand corner. Here’s a comparison screenshot.

Japanese retailer Rakuten also has a list of revised features for the PSP version.



New animated movies done by studio Kamikaze Douga.

- Rearranged soundtrack done by Shin Megami Tensei composer Shoji Meguro. Yumi Kawamura who sang in Persona 3 will do vocal tracks for Persona.

- Supports 16:9 widescreen mode with a new user interface.

- Additional dungeon floors have been added to the Sebek Chapter (main story) and Snow Queen Chapter. Watch out for new elements and tricky gimmicks.

- Rebalanced gameplay with a tweaked encounter rate.

- Considered to be more “user friendly” since players can pick the level of difficulty.

- Battle loading times are 2/3rds faster compared to the original. During enemy encounters animations can be skipped. Sounds similar to Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.

- Extra save points are added as well as a quick save feature.

- A revised city map with a top down view and highlighted landmarks. The original Persona had a simple 3D over world map similar to Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne.

^Boas notícias, já corrigiram algumas coisas neste port (ao contrário de outros que quando fazem ports... :002:)

Só espero que não demore muito a chegar por estes lados :)

A julgar pelo Persona 4/Devil Summoner novo, e pelo Devil Survivor deve demorar 6/7 meses a seguir ao lançamento Japonês até chegar ao ocidente (ou menos), e por ocidente refiro-me à América. Claro que Europa é a incógnita do costume, mas... *dica* a PSP é region free e tal. *dica*

Yep, it's time to rendezvous anew with them personae-summoning students, on a mission to defend their city from demons trying to invade it. The unnamed and silent lead boy character remains to be unnamed and silent, and Mary and Mark also are back to lend him their helping hands. The trailers, however, are in Japanese, so you'll need a reliable translator for that.

But before you go clicking away, we've got another Persona-related bit of news for you. We're hearing word about the Special Edition of the game, and it's gonna be a dual CD soundtrack containing a whopping 67 songs from the series.

It doesn't look like there are plans to release the soundtrack CD by itself in the future, though, and details are scarce for now. Persona releases April 29 in Japan, so get a move on those pre-orders now.

Tenho a minha encomenda no www.vgp.ca/

Se é mais barato lá ou não... sinceramente não sei; mas com eles sempre me safei na alfandega e é uma loja "estabelecida", tem sempre outra segurança que lojas desconhecidas ou o ebay. (embora realisticamente a maior razão de todas foi porque não me queria estar a chatear a procurar lojas :P)
