Remote Desktop

Boas,
estou com alguma dificuldade em aceder ao meu Pc de casa com o Remote Desktop no trabalho.
Em casa dá tudo muito bem devido a ser a mesma net.

Agora o problema é no trabalho, já configurei a porta e tudo, está tudo segundo este Tuto da Microsoft:

• Allow remote connections to the computer you want to access.
• Make sure Remote Desktop is able to communicate through your firewall.
• Find the IP address of the computer on your home network that you want to connect to.
• Open your router's configuration screen and forward TCP port 3389 to the destination computer's IP address.
• Find your router's public IP address so that Remote Desktop can find it on the Internet.
• Open Remote Desktop Connection and connect.

Alguem já utilizou isto?
O meu pc de casa tem Windows8 e no trabalho Windows7

Talvez no trabalho tenhas politicas de seguranca que não permitam, talvez tenha uma firewall, etc..
