Nos últimos anos, para além do smartphone topo de gama, a Apple tem disponibilizado um modelo mais económico mas igualmente poderoso. Foi assim com o iPhone 8 e iPhone SE… E em 2020 poderemos ter o iPhone SE 2 com o Apple A13 e um preço de $399!
A empresa de Cupertino poderá assim dar um impulso significativo nas suas vendas. A procura de iPhones mais baratos é sempre elevada, especialmente pelo desempenho que oferecem e a longevidade de atualizações.
O iPhone, desde a sua primeira geração em 2007, que se posiciona numa gama de topo e de elevado custo. Muitos utilizadores não estão dispostos a pagar tanto pelo porta estandarte da Apple e a empresa, para estes, desenvolveu o iPhone SE (de Special Edition). Em 2016, o iPhone SE tinha especificações ao nível do iPhone 6S, mas design do iPhone 5S.
Desde então venderam-se milhões de smartphones deste modelo e a empresa de Cupertino prepara-se agora para renová-lo, segundo informações adiantadas pelo analista Ming-Chi Kuo da TF International Securities. No caso dos produtos Apple, este analista tem fama de prever os dispositivos antes do seu lançamento oficial.
Kuo, que tem estado bastante ativo com as suas declarações feitas nas últimas semanas, prevê que o iPhone SE 2 tenha o mesmo design do 8, mas com o chip A13 do iPhone 11.
Esta informação já tinha sido adiantada no passado, mas desta vez o analista afirma ter mais dados que o fundamentam… E partilhou ainda mais pormenores sobre o equipamento!
Aparentemente, o iPhone SE 2 estará disponível em vertentes de 64 e 128 GB. A RAM será de 3 GB, que acompanha assim o chip A13 nas tarefas que o utilizador irá executar neste equipamento.
Para além disso, este smartphone ‘low-cost’ da Apple deverá ser apresentado em três acabamentos: Space Gray, Silver e Vermelho (provavelmente pertencente aos smartphones RED da empresa).
O preço para o iPhone SE 2 estima-se que será de $399. Tendo em conta as especificações e a longevidade que os dispositivos da Apple oferecem, este terminal deverá ser comercialmente bem sucedido!”

In a report to investors, Kuo revised its iPhone SE 2 revenue forecast. Accordingly, he said that Apple will sell at least 20 million iPhone SE 2 by the end of 2020, and can be up to 30 million if received by users.
According to PhoneArena , this figure is much lower than previous predictions. Just last month, Kuo suggested that Apple could sell between 30 million and 40 million iPhone SE 2. However, after consulting information from supply chains, Kuo reduced his prediction

There are three main reasons why iPhone SE 2 may not be as popular as expected. Firstly, Apple is trying to gain market share in saturated markets like the US or Europe, users are increasingly slow to upgrade phones.
Secondly, the growing rivals make Apple fierce competition. And finally, the iPhone SE 2 is not as small as the iPhone SE when the size is expected to be equal to the iPhone 8. Those who want an ultra-small phone will not be interested in this product.
If the iPhone SE is the highly configurable version of the iPhone 5s, then the iPhone SE 2 will be the upgraded version of the iPhone 8. It is rumored that the device will be equipped with the same A13 Bionic chip as the iPhone 11, with 3GB of RAM, 64GB internal memory lowest.
The iPhone SE 2 looks like an iPhone 8 with a thick 4.7-inch LCD screen and a home button with Touch ID. According to sources, the screen of iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured by LG.
Similar to the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE 2 will most likely feature wireless charging, or 18W wired fast charging, but not with fast charging in the box.
Apple may launch the iPhone SE 2 in late March 2020 with a starting price of $ 399. March is also the time to launch the new iPad Pro, AirTag navigation card, new Apple TV, new HomePod speaker and possibly a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple iPhone 9 renders give us our best look at it yet
The iPhone SE 2 was in our news section consistently throughout the second half of 2019 but a new set of renders from the reliable Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks is giving us our first look at the actual device which might just end up being called the iPhone 9. Yes, the iPhone 9 could end up being the name for the long-rumored compact iPhone and it looks every bit as promised from the previous leaks and rumors.
The device features a dual glass build with a 4.7-inch display straight from 2016 with the chunky top and bottom bezels and Touch ID sensor from further back in 2014. Around the back, we see the frosted glass finish just like on the iPhone 11 Pro duo alongside a single camera, LED flash and the Apple logo.
The alleged dimensions of the device are 138.5 x 67.4 x 7.8mm which is just a tad thicker than the iPhone 8. The iPhone 9 is expected to pack the A13 Bionic SoC which debuted on the iPhone 11 lineup alongside 3GB RAM. Another rumored addition is the new LCP antenna which will offer improved network connectivity. Charging will still be done through the proprietary Lighting port though.
While it's still fairly early to talk about release dates, we’ve been seeing rumors that the iPhone 9 will enter its production phase as soon as next month and could be released in March alongside the new 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pros. The expected starting price for the 64GB variant iPhone 9 is $399.

Se mandam isto para o mercado tal e qual como referi na casa dos 500€, arrisca-se a ser o telefone mais vendido de 2020 da Apple!
há muita gente à espera deste menino para trocar os seus iphones antigos. porque não está para gastar os 800/1000 euros pedidos pelos topos... efectivamente por 500 euros com o que se tem referido, parece-me que vai muita gente trocar de iphone este ano.
