Galaxy S22 Ultra could offer a massive upgrade in camera quality​


The Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumored to feature the same camera specs as its predecessor. It could have a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, two 10MP telephoto cameras (3x and 10x optical zoom), and a 40MP selfie camera. Still, Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone is rumored to offer a massive image and video quality upgrade.

According to tipsters Ahmed Qwaider (@AhmedQwaider888) and Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer improved image and video quality, thanks to important software optimizations and AI (Artificial Intelligence) enhancements. The device will reportedly capture pictures and videos with higher brightness, improved colors, and more details with the help of the AI-powered detail enhancement tool.

The company’s next flagship phone reportedly uses “Wide Shift OIS” for 58% improved video stabilization. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is also said to use AI to predict a person’s movement in Portrait Video mode. Moreover, the smartphone is rumored to feature 12-bit (68 billion colors) video capture using Pro Mode. Thanks to Super HDR colors and the Super ISO Pro feature, it is also said to feature improved colors and lower noise in videos.

Tipster Ahmed also claims that the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the device’s actual name and not the Galaxy S22 Note, as was previously rumored. He also claims that all Galaxy S22 series smartphones will feature a glass back with a matte finish and 12.5% better protection than the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra are also said to feature 45W fast charging.

Now, more pictures of the smartphone have been revealed.
Tipster @hypark22 has published images of the black variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra on Twitter. While it is clear that these are the images of dummy units of the smartphone, it is still great to have a look at the upcoming smartphone in its flesh. Samsung has completely moved away from the camera island-like design element, something that was introduced with the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features an LG Velvet-like design.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has squared-off edges and a boxy look, making it a spiritual successor to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The phone has a large Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with thin bezels, an S Pen with a built-in slot, and a USB Type-C port. The device has a matte finish on the rear, resisting fingerprints from appearing.

Honestamente para mim parece ser o Smartphone onde a Samsung vai voltar a ter qualidade na generalidade das spec's, algo que já falta à pelo menos 4 anos.

Vamos ver é o SOC Europeu.
 
Sinceramente não sei o que é mais feio relativamente às cameras.... este ou os anteriores...
Talvez este, aquelas bolas ali dão impressão de ser algo barato não sei. Também me parece muito quadrado overall.
 
Tenho o S21 Ultra e a unica coisa que este parece ter de substancialmente diferente é a S Pen. Para quem usa, pode ser um bom upgrade.

Para quem tem o S21 ultra não faz muito sentido o upgrade. Agora para quem vem de uma geração anterior ao S21 a diferença já deve ser mais notória.
 
Sinceramente há duas coisas que me deixam tentada a fazer upgrade do meu s21 ultra para este: aquela versão em vermelho é lindíssima e o carregamento rápido mas principalmente a cor. Duvido que o vá fazer no entanto.
 
Segundo alguns leaks, a versão S22 e S22+ deverão ter uma bateria mais pequena. Não sei se isto é muito boa ideia, a confirmar-se.

É sempre a mesma história à partida SOC mais eficiente e depois cortam na bateria, a mim não faz sentido.
Até admira o Ultra mesmo com a SPen interna continuar nos 5000.
 
Wow esses renders estão fantásticos! Estava a pensar mudar para iPhone e esperar pelo 14 Pro mas assim não sei se vou resistir a este S22 Ultra lol
 
Acho com tantos leaks, não faz sentido a Samsung esperar quase até fins de Fevereiro para apresentar o bixo.
Apresenta e mantem datas de lançamento. Está tudo divulgado mesmo.
