Começam os rumores sobre o próximo grande lançamento na linha Galaxy S da Samsung. E as primeiras indicações apontam para um sistema de câmara dupla e para resoluções de ecrã Ultra HD, a pensar na realidade virtual.


Esta semana começa da melhor forma para os fãs da gama Galaxy S: vários sites indicam desde já que o S8, com apresentação esperada para o início de 2017, poderá incluir uma câmara principal com duas lentes, à semelhança do que acontece com o Huawei P9 e do que poderá vir a ser o novo iPhone 7 no campo da captação de imagem.

Melhor ainda: o site AndroidHeadlines refere que existem fortes possibilidades de o ecrã de 5,5 polegadas com 3.840x2.160 píxeis mostrado em maio pela Samsung poder mesmo marcar presença no próximo Galaxy S8.

A mesma fonte associa a resolução 4K prevista para o ecrã às experiências de realidade virtual em que a Samsung e outras marcas contam apostar em breve em smartphones, tablets e outros equipamentos, principalmente desde que atecnologia Google DayDream parece estar pronta para integrar a próxima versão do Android, possivelmente.

Por outro lado, o IndiaToday prevê que o processador a utilizar no S8 possa ser o novo Snapdragon 830 e revela datas possíveis para os anúncios dos próximos grandes lançamentos da marca sul-coreana. Este site escreve que o Note 7deverá chegar já em agosto, enquanto o Galaxy S8 poderá ter como timing de apresentação o próximo Mobile World Congress, a ter lugar em Barcelona em fevereiro de 2017, à partida.

Esse da direita é horrível com as câmaras assim, nunca iria saír um "aborto" desses. O da esquerda sim, mais plausível.

Não acredito sequer nas 5.5", a Samsung nunca vai cometer esse erro.

Porque já é o habitual?
Porque certamente já está em desenvolvimento?

O ecrã, no que toca a resolução até pode ser possível.
5.5? No Edge.
Apesar que a Samsung escolher ir Full-Edge e retirar a bosta do Logo da Frente, tendo melhor aproveitamento de espaço, podia ir muito bem para 5.5. Não alterando muito as medidas do smartphone.
 
Sim mas estas tentativas de leak é para rir mesmo, então aquela dual câmara... Jesus XD
Nota-se que é só para encher chouriços.
Mas também não é preciso ser um mago vidente para descobrir as specs.
O novo exynos, para aí 5 gb de RAM, câmara 16 ou até 21 com novo sensor, biométrico melhorado, ecrã xpto.
Bateria uns 3000.
Vai ser esse o S8.
O design desde o 6 que é uma aproximação ao iPhone.

According to the leaked papers from the lawsuit, Samsung’s eighth iteration of the Galaxy S series will have a 10nm Exynos chipset. This isn’t particularly surprising given that MediaTek has already unveiled a deca-core chipset built using the 10nm fabrication process. Although we don’t really know whether Samsung’s upcoming chipset will be another octa-core processor or what speed it will be clocked at, we are starting to learn more about its GPU.

SamMobile is reporting that this 10nm Exynos chipset will be the Exynos 8895 processor, which will make use of ARM’s new Mali-G71 GPU. The Mali-G71 is supposed to be 1.8 times faster than the Mali-T880 MP12 GPU that we find in the Galaxy S7 siblings. Also, if GFXBench results are any indication, it will be more powerful than the Adreno GPU found in the Snapdragon 830 chipset.

ARM unveiled the Mali-G71 back in May: ARM announced that it will be the first to be based on its next generation GPU architecture, Bifrost. As a result, it’s supposed to be 20% more energy efficient and have 40% better performance density than Mali-T880. As we’ve come to expect from most high-end GPUs, the Mali-G71 will be compatible with the Vulkan graphics API.

The more intriguing part is perhaps that the Mali-G71 will support high-end 4K displays and smooth VR experiences. This should sound familiar because the rumor right now is that theGalaxy S8 will be the first Samsung phone to feature a 4K display and that the device will be Daydream-ready. Here’s hoping that the rumor turns out to be true!

Segundo rumores, o S8 poderá ter exclusivamente CPU Exynos (8895 ?), por supostamente ser bastante poderoso e o Snapdragon 830 não corresponder às expectativas da Samsung.

Outras specs "esperadas":
- Todos os modelos com ecrã curvo, 4K, havendo apenas diferença nos tamanhos (5.2" e 5.5");
- 6 GB RAM
- 64 GB ou 128 GB ROM
- Dual primary camera
- USB 3.1 e Type-C 1.0
- Iris Scanner

A questão que fica é se sai mesmo em Fevereiro/Março de 2017 ou ainda este ano? É esperar para ver.
 
Huge hardware changes predicted for the Galaxy S8

The report claims that Samsung might remove the home button from the Galaxy S8. This might compel you to ask where the fingerprint sensor will go, Samsung is reportedly going to integrate it right into the display itself. Samsung’s dual-edge displays have allowed the company to eliminates bezels from the sides of its flagship smartphones and it’s now expected to expand the curved display to the top and bottom edges of the Galaxy S8. If this is true it would mean that the next flagship will truly be “full-screen.”

It’s also claimed that the Galaxy S8 is going to be the first handset in this series to feature a dual-camera. A component industry representative cited in the report says that Samsung has already finalized this decision and that now it’s just in the process of deciding whether to use an all-in-one dual-camera or separated dual-camera.

Não foi no lançamento do Note 7 que mandaram a boquinha do jack?
Se calhar ainda vão dizer que o motivo das explosões estava relacionada com jack 3.5

Já se sabe o motivo, falta de espaço para a bateria expandir, ou seja, mau design interno. Quem sabe sem o jack dê para relocalizar algum componente e resolver isso =P
