Verdict

The SyncMaster 244T is the best high resolution LCD monitor I’ve seen at a great price. Yes, if you are VERY serious about image editing, you’ll probably look at a monitor like the Eizo ColorEdge CG220 or the NEC SpectraView Reference 21, but you’ll be paying over three times as much for either of these. For all but professional image editors that demand a colour calibrated display, the 244T is ideal for Photoshop work.

The resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 is as high as you can go with a single-link graphics card, and that should be more than enough for most users. If you have a fast enough PC, gaming on this screen is an absolute joy. But if you’re like me and have loads of Windows open during your working day, you’ll love the desktop real estate that the 244T gives you. Basically a fantastic all-rounder at a great price.

Segundo eles o melhor monitor do genero batendo o DELL e afins ( o k n é dificil pk o ultimo dell n vale nada)
24"@1920x1200, 6ms, 8 bits e a porta DVI já é HDCP.

Sera k está na altura para mudar para LCD, hummmm é uma boa proposta, mas ainda vou esperar pelos LED backlight com 0ms :P
Dps tb ha k acrescentar ao custo uma X1900XT para poder correr os jogos ha rel. nativa :-D

Fabuloso... absolutamente delicioso, quase comestivel,lol.

Penso que o maior problema será ter bons frame s nos jogos de hoje... e de amanhã, sem termos de gastar muita pasta em gráficas.
 
Muito Bom mesmo!!! o preço não é para todas as bolsas.

Eu comprei o Acer 19"wide, por 299€ e acho-o muito bom. Claro que não são 24", e não tem DVI, isso é que me mata.
 
Tive a ver uma review e...

Despite its listed 10ms response time, the 244T performed unimpressively on DVD-playback tests. Colors looked distorted, and background noise was clearly present. On our gaming tests, however, the 244T produced sharp, clean-looking backgrounds with lots of detail.

DVD playback and scaling
From what I've been able to read, the scaling on this monitor isn't very good. If that is the case, it stands to reason that you might get good performance if you use an upscaling DVD player set to the native resolution of the panel so that the DVD player is doing the scaling and not the panel.

Perhaps something like the Panasonic DVD-S97S set to 1080i or such.

tenho o 214T é igual mas de 21,5 e o tempo de resposta é 8ms, são bons ecrans, pena para arranjar em preto é mto dificil aqui na europa

ecras grandes e bons igual ------------- a gastar mais dinheiro em graficas potentes para se poder jogar fixe as resuluçoes nativas dos respectivos

afinal este 244t é 6ms ou 16ms, nesse review vejo 6ms na pagina da samsung vejo 16ms

alguem consegue esclareçer isto
 
É 6ms grey-to-grey, 16 rise + fall.

Mas isso n interessa muito, tens k esperar por uma review k tenha o tempo de resposta para toda a gama de cores.

Tempo de resposta anunciado 8ms no entanto:

Como podes ver as x até atinge +-27ms.

Normalmente esses tempos mais baixos são atingidos com overdrive, mas esta tecnologia provoca algum ruido em video, tb pode provocar outros problemas como imagens k ficam persistente etc...
