In a slip up on the Alienware website it appears the company is set to release a couple of new notebooks, the M15x and M17x will be 15" and 17" notebooks respectively. The Nvidia 8800GTX graphics card, unknown about to date, was part of the option on these notebooks that showed up on Alienware.com today but was later taken down.
Below is a screenshot from the Alienware.com website that promoted the new Nvidia 8800GTX graphics card today:

The Area-51 m15x 15.4" notebook appeared on Alienware.com with a starting price of $1,399 equipped with a Core 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz processor), 1GB of memory, 80GB 7200RPM hard drive and Nvidia 8600m graphics card. You can of course trick the machine out with much higher configurations, including up to an Nvidia 8800 GTX processor with 512MB of memory. This graphics card isn't officially announced yet, but obviously it will be soon. The 8800GTX will serve as the highest end mobile graphics offering from Nvidia, surpassing the current 8700 graphics card in performance.
The bigger Area-51 m17x 17" notebook will start at $2,199 and offer SLI 8800GTX graphics (dual graphics) and up to an Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme 2.8GHz processor. You can get such options as a Blu-Ray Recorder and 200GB 7200RPM hard drive on the m17x to boost the price all the way up to about $6,000.
