Serious Sam 4 Announced, Being Funded Through One-Week Humble Bundle Sale

This week’s Humble Weekly Sale is a seriously exciting one. Pay what you want, get a truck full of Serious Sam games, including the most recent third installment. But that’s not all.

By buying the bundle, your money goes directly into the pockets of developer Croteam, who are using the profit to make Serious Sam 4. Seriously.

If you were to head over to the Humble Weekly Sale website you could be forgiven for missing this vital bit of information, which is hidden at the bottom as if nobody cared about it. But this is a seriously big deal, and you should seriously consider giving a decent amount of money to Croteam if you’re serious about Serious Sam 4.

Remember that you can crank the slider on your donation to push more funds towards the developer, although this is at the expense of giving money to charity.

In the meantime, paying for the bundle will bag you Serious Sam HD 1 and 2, The Random Encounter, Double D, Kamikazi Attack, Public Test 2, and if you spend over the average donation, Serious Sam 2 and Serious Sam 3 BFE.

serious sam 2... o jogo da minha vida xD tantas horas colado naquilo... a primeira vez que o acabei foi uma sensacao tipo.... Boa.. O QUE VOU FAZER AGORAA?? XD
 
Esta cena de tentarem fazer exclusividades ainda vai deixar o VR mais para trás nestas primeiras gerações, eu por exemplo não vou adoptar VR enquanto não vir uma coisa decente e sem exclusividades. Tirando a ganância das empresas, nem dá para entender porque é que o tentam fazer, é tipo vamos fazer um jogo para PC mas é exclusivo a monitores de x marca :facepalm:... Porque no fundo o VR é um display, tá certo que existem controlos diferentes e sensores de movimento e tretas a 4, mas é um display, não me lixem...

Croteam é das empresas mais íntegras e abertas no negócio dos vídeo jogos. Desde lançar versões dos seus jogos para todas as plataformas, incluindo Linux, que tem uma quota de mercado pequena; ser a primeira a lançar um jogo que usa o API Vulkan poucos dia depois do lançamento oficial deste; e acabando na recusa de acordos de exclusividade (que alguém ainda me há-de explicar o que é que comunidade ganha com isso).

X2. Integridade é algo muito raro na industria dos videojogos. Por isso é sempre de saudar.
 
Acho engraçado que rejeitaram o dinheiro da Oculus para tornar a versão VR exclusiva, mas o Serious Sam 4 vai ser exclusivo temporário no Stadia, as versões PS4 e Xbox One só saiem para o ano.

pelo que tenho visto no yt e twitch o jogo tem alguns bugs nas animações e IA dos inimigos e alguns fãs parecem meio desiludidos , mas está na lista de compras. gosto do jogo.
