Sonic Lost World é um exclusivo Wii U e 3DS

Sonic Lost World Details Coming May 29th, Game Features Six "Guardians"

According to a couple of our readers, the official Sonic Facebook page leaked the Sonic Lost World announcement early this morning, including three images and the promise of more details May 29th. One of the images sounds like the above one released this afternoon, while another is said to have featured the outline of six ‘guardians’ from the game who may be friends or foes. What gives these details some credibility is that both readers say the leaked post mentioned the SEGA and Nintendo partnership for the next three Sonic games BEFORE it was even announced this afternoon.

You can read the 2 comments after the jump. Thanks to M.S. and Bark the Polar Bear for the info.
If you saw the images and managed to grab them before they were removed, please send us a news tip at [email protected].

The Facebook page accidentally leaked 3 pictures of the game with important information:
- Full details will be announced on the 29th.
- the lost world (not worlds) is a partially unfinished planet seemingly made of hexagon tiles.
- the game has six “guardians” who may be friends or foes- only their outlines are shown but they look very cartoony, like characters from Rayman.
- most importantly, Sega and Nintendo have entered an exclusive partnership for Sonic’s next three games.
These photos should still be accessible, they’re just not in posts but rather in the picture gallery itself.
At this point I consider the Sonic Excursion rumor to have no credibility.

Sonic Lost World, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Winter Olympics, Additional Game Gear eShop Titles Unveiled via Nintendo Direct

Woah nelly, Sonic fans were in for a freaking treat this morning!

First up, as you may recall, the name Sonic Lost World was trademarked by SEGA yesterday, prompting a large amount of buzz within the community as a reveal seemed to be right around the corner. This morning, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata unexpectedly began today’s scheduled Nintendo Direct with news pertaining to Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic Lost World has been officially unveiled by Ninty’s bossman, with Iwata confirming that it will be exclusive to both Wii U and 3DS consoles. More details to the game will come before E3.

Forest world, jungle world, ice world, desert world, volcano world, water world… Oh this looks gorgeous!

But this wasn’t the only new Sonic game to be revealed! Before Lost World was showcased, Iwata gave a presentation concerning Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games, tying in with the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Screenshots of the Wii U game are available after the jump!

Sonic and Eggman Team Up in Sonic Lost World, Box Art Revealed

Right on schedule, the SEGA Blog has updated with more details concerning Sonic Lost World, and more on its new baddies.

Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures collectively known as the Deadly Six, but when the Deadly Six rise up against their master, Sonic has to unite with his arch nemesis in order to take on the new enemies head-on. Using his dynamic new parkour moves and improved Color Powers, Sonic must run, jump and race through a variety of ever-changing terrains in order to defeat the Deadly Six.

As confirmed by Hiroyuki Miyazaki, SEGA of America’s Chief Content Officer, Sonic Lost World‘s story tells of adversaries Sonic and Eggman indeed joining forces to defeat the new threat! 3DS box art and additional info about the game after the jump! Along with the confirmation of Wisps, full 3D terrain for the handheld version, and 2 player support mode amongst others via IGN, the Blog also tells a bit more about what to expect come later this year.

  • Multiplayer modes are highlighted for both versions of the game
  • Like Sonic Colours, some Colour powers are unique to Wii U, and others to the 3DS
  • Wii U exclusive Colour powers controlled through the GamePad by tilting, touching, aiming, and more
  • Can be played solely via the Wii U GamePad
  • 3DS version to feature Special Stages

Sonic Lost World Hits Europe October 18th

Today, SEGA Europe has revealed via a localized version of yesterday’s trailer and their website that Sonic Lost World will launch in Europe October 18th. That’s four days before the game’s US launch, so our fellow fans in the US may want to stay clear of the online Sonic community for those four days if they want to avoid spoilers.

Casino Night Inspired Zone for Sonic Lost World

It would appear from these screenshots that a Casino Night inspired Zone is going to be in Sonic Lost World. The screens were posted by SSMB member Gatestormer on The Sonic Stadium Message Board a short while ago and appear to show a new unannounced zone for Sonic Lost World. No name has been given yet, however long term fans will instantly recognise what it looks like. The Zone appears to borrow heavilly from the Sonic 2 stage Casino Night, with the pinball section and even Casino Night badniks.

Check out the rest of the images in our gallery.

Sonic Lost World: 19 New Screenshots

Earlier today we were given a selection of new screenshots for Sonic Lost World which showed off a Casino Night themed level. Well, the person who posted the images has been at it again, 19 new screenshots from the Wii U version of the game, showcasing some of the levels shown in yesterdays trailer as well as some of the new Wisp powers.

The screens show lots of new enemies and dangers for Sonic as well as a potential ‘stealth’ section in which Sonic has to navigate a zone without being spotted by giant owls.

Esperemos pelas primeiras reviews.

Gosto muito do logo.

Adoro a direcção artistica do jogo. Sonic. Visualmente passa (por mim), vamos ver o resto. Gostei desta informação dada pelo IGN:

Sonic Team’s greatest challenge was maintaining a sense of speed for the series while finding controls that made sense. The result is now that, by default, Sonic doesn’t burst off with a tilt of the analog stick. He walks – until you use one of the GamePad’s triggers to engage his running speed. This too is actually not full speed. Holding down the second trigger will pull Sonic into a ball, giving him access to his full momentum, which Iizuka likened to the ‘Boost speed’ from previous titles. By creating a tiered structure to movement, Sonic Team is hoping players will be able to navigate the wide range of level designs, exploring and running as necessary.

LOL
IMO, o Colors tinha influencias claras do Super Mario Galaxy.

Parece-me muito bem ;D
