NUMBER ONE CONSOLE player Sony is to steal a march on Microsoft and Nintendo by introducing a handheld videogame device, the Wall Street Journal is saying.
The Playstation Portable or PSP will have a 4.5-inch LCD screen and use a so-far unnamed high performance CPU.
It will have the ability to connect to other PSPs and to mobile phones, PCs and the PlayStation 2 itself, reports the Journal.
The device is firmly targeted at Nintendo's Game Boy Advance, but will also take a swipe at Nokia which has ambitions in this realm.

Tendo em conta o habitual grain of salt do Inquirer sera que a Sony consegue mais uma vez? Sera que isto tem alguma coisa a ver com as noticias de uma PS2 num chip com consumo de apenas 8 W? Nao me parece mas se tivesse acho que arrasava simplesmente.
Uma sugestão que eu dava era utilizarem DVD's de 8cm na consola. Estilo os da GC acho...
