CHAPTER REVEAL: HIGH ISLE
As teased by previous developer interviews and statements, the 2022 Chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online called "High Isle" will take place in a never before seen part of The Elder Scrolls universe which are the Systres Archipelago west of the main continent of Tamriel.
The Chapter will be part of the year-long "Legacy of the Breton" which will see a huge emphasis on Breton culture, lore and aspects of their political intrigue that deviates from the much-tried Daedric invasion theme prevalent since 2018.
Lore-wise, the story will center around the resolving of the Three Banners war between the Ebonheart Pact, Aldmeri Dominion and the Daggerfall Covenant which will be interrupted by a secret society called the "Ascendant Order" led by the intimidating figure known only as the "Ascendant Lord" who's accompanied by the "Ascendant Magus".
Like previous year-long stories, previous characters encountered in the ESO universe will most likely make appearances. Two confirmed characters will return for the Legacy of the Breton story : Za'ji from the Southern Elsweyr/Dragonguard and Jakarn from Stros M'Kai crew.
Surprisingly an official feedback poll thread was created on the Official ESO Forums by Zenimax Online Studios to gauge player interest perhaps indicating more development for the recent probing of player-dev communication.
NEW ITEM SETS
In addition to a bunch of DLC content such as Dungeons, a Trial and of course overland zones, players can expect with Update 33 to see:
- 3 New Item Sets (Rewards for the Worthy)
- 3 New Monster Sets (Imperial City)
- Six New Dungeon Sets and Two New Monster Sets (Ascending Tide DLC Dungeons) which are shown below:
NEW GAME SYSTEM (TALES OF TRIBUTE)
An ingame collectible card game assumingly similar to Gwent from The Witcher series or other Trading Card Games (TCGs) has been unveiled where two players can play against each other in open world, in taverns or against NPCs to progress through a sort of storyline.
It comes with a tutorial and the system is designed so that newer or more experienced players can face off in these games as both parties' will be shuffled together for the actual game.
It will come with a ranking system, furnishing rewards, collectible rewards and even Transmute Crystals as rewards for playing.
Not much is known apart from the fact that it's a "resource building" game.
2 PERSON MOUNTS
At long last due to technical issues plaguing the last iteration of a two person mount, ESO will soon see a two person mount not just in the form of a Dwarven spider but ALSO in the form of a horse where your Companion or a group member (Player) can ride together!

2 new Companions introduced: Ember the Khajiit sorcerer and Isobel Velois the Breton knight!

Dreadsail Reef - "Gather your strongest allies for a new 12-person Trial and strike back against the Dreadsail pirates within their dangerous island hideaway." Maormer pirates were hinted at.

A mostly underwater house has been unveiled.
SPANISH INTEGRATION AND SPANISH ESO FORUMS
The Spanish language has been localized into The Elder Scrolls Online alongside the other existing localized languages of Russian, German, French, Japanese and English.
The official ESO forums now have a Spanish version that went live after the 2022 Global Reveal stream.
DECONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT
Instead of traveling to a specific crafting station to deconstruct their respective type of items/gear, you can now purchase a Deconstruction Assistant (presumably from the Crown Store, assuming 5000 Crowns just like the other Assistants) to deconstruct things on the go instead.
ACCOUNT-WIDE ACHIEVEMENTS (TITLES INCLUDED)
Perhaps a double-edged blade, account-wide achievements have been announced for Update 33 meaning all characters will share most achievements/achievement rewards such as Titles across the account they are on (per platform/server) although you assumingly still can replay quests on characters you've never done with before.
Following achievements are not included:
- Enchanting/Rune achievements
- Motif Crafting/Styles
- Lorebooks
- Skyshards
- Public Dungeon Group Event achievements
- Dragonguard Sanctum achievements
PLAYSTATION 4 AND PLAYSTATION 5 TROPHIES SYNCED
In regards to the achievement trophies gained in The Elder Scrolls Online on the Playstation console, the PS4 trophies earned for those who transitioned to the PS5 system will now become synced!
PTS and Update 33 Combat Preview Announced
The first cycle of the Public Test Server for Update 33 has been announced for January 31, 2022 (Monday) while the Update 33 Combat Preview has been announced for January 28, 2022 (Friday).

Special Battleground Weekends Are Coming to ESO PvP

Gina Bruno just announced in aforum thread that ESO Battlegrounds will get an update with the new DLC U35. ZOS is implementing new tech that will allow them to activate and deactivate special Battleground weekends, without requiring server downtime.
The special Battlegrounds weekend will feature single game modes over several days and also grant 25% more AP while participating. You can think of this like a small weekend event for Battlegrounds.
Gina Bruno also mentioned that they plan to increase the amount of EXP that you can earn from doing various PVP activities within Cyrodiil and Imperial City.
Of course these things will be tested on the Public Test Server U35 and there might still be further adjustments to these ideas.
In the same post Gina Bruno also mentioned that they are still working on getting the new hardware ready for PC EU and the consoles. But she didn't give a specific date of when these will be ready, arguably this is the most important thing any ESO PVP player wants right now.

PvP faço com a guild que tenho de PvP. Todos os meus Chars são Ebonheart Pact. A escolha da fação é muito importanet para o PvP e determina com quem podes fazer PvP fora dos BGs.

MAYHEM IS BACK!
The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event begins this Thursday, July 28 at 10AM EDT, and runs until Tuesday, August 9 at 10AM EDT. During the event period, you can enjoy bonuses to both your Alliance Point and XP gains in addition to earning fantastic in-game rewards while participating in ESO’s PvP activities.Here’s how you can join the fight:
- Visit the in-game Crown Store to acquire the “Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem" quest
- Travel to your Alliance War faction's main gate in Cyrodiil using the Alliance War menu or a Battlegrounds camp outside major cities
- You are not required to travel to Cyrodiil to kick off the event
- Find the NPC named “Predicant Maera" and continue the quest
- If you already completed the quest last year, you won't need to do it again
- Complete the quest to receive your Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity and a Pelinal's Boon Box
- Use the scroll to enjoy a two-hour, 100% buff in the Alliance War, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds to:
- Alliance Points gained
- XP gains for PvP player kills
Work together to capture Cyrodiil
You can use the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity throughout the entirety of the Whitestrake’s Mayhem. If you happen to misplace the scroll, you can always return to Predicant Maera to obtain another or utilize the Basin of the Gore Virtuous instead. Keep in mind: the Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity is an inventory item, not a Memento/Tool.TO THE VICTOR!

Even better, the Cyrodiil merchant Adhazabi, “The Golden,” Aba-daro will update her stock to contain Cyrodiil-available jewelry, in CP160 Gold quality, with necklaces for sale during the first weekend and rings during the second.

Be aware that throughout the duration of Whitestrake’s Mayhem, Aba-daro will not be selling Monster Masks and all purchases in her shop must be made with Alliance Points, not gold.EVENT TICKETS & REWARDS
During this event, you can earn up to three Event Tickets per day by completing two different PvP activities:- Two Event Tickets from the first Cyrodiil or Battleground repeatable quest you do each day
- Note that these can include Bounty Board quests, a Town Daily, the Conquest Board quests, or the daily Battleground quest
- One Event Ticket from a District daily quest within the Imperial City
Once you’ve gathered a healthy collection of tickets, be sure to visit the Impresario event merchant to barter for some tantalizing collectibles. Here’s everything the Impresario will have in stock during the Whitestrake’s Mayhem event. Spend wisely!

25 January 2023On January 25th, Zenimax Online Studios revealed a new class, new quality of life features and more in their annual reveal for the next Chapter and year.

New Class - The 3 Arcanist skill lines are Herald of the Tome, Apocryphal Soldier, and Curative Runeforms. Confirmed skills include Runic armor, Tentacle ranged shot, a combo/build-up points system, creating two portals for teleportation. Aesthetics based on Hermaeus Mora and Apocrypha setting.Apocryphal Gate lets you open a pair of portals which you can jump between for in-fight mobility, or for creative exploration.
Abyssal Impact lets you turn your arm into tentacles.
New Zones - Telvanni Peninsula, the city of Necrom the Dunmer city of the dead is featured. The Daedric realm of Apocrypha is featured as well.
New World Events/Bosses
New Story - Hermaeus Mora and company need assistance safeguarding the secrets of Apocrypha from a mysterious Daedric entity. You'll meet a clanless Dremora called Torvesard whose motives are complex - is he friend or foe? Vampire mercenaries called the Dusksabers prowl the Telvanni Peninsula, working for Magister Shelreni Baro. She's a typical Telvanni, wanting to climb the ranks of her house.
New 12 man Trial confirmed.
An increase in available Character Slots from 18 to 20.
2 New Companions, including one that is based off of the new class. (Argonian and Redguard)
