Thermaltake Technology and Active Cool will be working together to enhance the next generation thermal solution aimed towards PC Enthusiasts and OEM Markets. "Thermaltake has chosen to work with Active Cool because we firmly believe our development will further prove our philosophy in providing the best thermal solution on the market" said Kenny Lin, Thermaltake President.
"[Thermaltake] project's continuous dedication to create a stable, attractive and functional thermal solution & Active Cool's knowledge will offer users a state-of-the-art cooling system with superior cooling capability" stated David Hwang, Thermaltake C.E.O. "We're all very excited about the new prospects."
The new thermo-electric cooler, codenamed SubZero4G™ is now undergoing its final stages of testing and validation process in Thermaltake's newest China factory. Thermaltake's plan is to release three different variation of SubZero™ 4G Series solutions: Intel P4 478 upto 4Ghz, AMD AthlonXP upto 3400+ and the yet to be released AMD K8 upto 4Ghz. While Thermaltake has three different designs for each plateforms, their basic operating principles are the same.
SubZero4G™ will be announced at the Comdex/Fall '02, held at the Las Vegas from November 18 - 22, 2002. Thermaltake will be showcasing their products at booth 5445. Live demonstrations and more detailed information will be available at the showcase.
