Pre-TGS: Hironobu Sakaguchi returns to Square Enix?
The biggest gaming event this year in Japan, Tokyo Game Show 2008, is about to kick off. This week's Famitsu issue listed Square Enix as one of the companies that has no surprise announcements at the event this year (along with six other game companies), but as always, rumors are spreading like wildfire in the internet.
The biggest rumor this year is all about the Square Enix and Microsoft love. The EGM crew claims they saw Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the famed Final Fantasy franchise who later created Mistwalker, a game company with the financial backing of Microsoft, hanging out with both Square Enix legends Yoshitaka Amano and Nobuo Uematsu. The three were reading papers right next to the Microsoft and Square Enix booths (which are right next to each other).
This little reunion sparked the interest of the EGM crew that immediately jumped to conclusion that something is about to happen, and it smells good. What do you think? An entire game created by Mistwalker and published by Square Enix? A co-developed game? Will Hironobu Sakaguchi make a comeback and return to Square Enix? Whatever happens, we will try and be your number one source for TGS 2008 news. Stay tuned as the event kicks off today.
SEGA e Konami vão mostrar jogos 360
"There will be other third-party, non-exclusive games shown in Tokyo as well. Resident Evil 5 has ceased being a no-show at major events but hopefully we'll see an update on it. The other Japanese publishers that support Xbox 360 will be in attendance with SEGA and Konami showing off some 360 fare. A few American and European companies usually make the trip over as well, so updates on EA and Ubisoft games are likely. "
Eu devo conseguir estar acordado a essas horas se der vou actualizando o topico com todas as noticias (:
Aparentemente o Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion também vai sair para a X360. Boa notícia, começa bem
Very nice! Bem, se começa logo assim, acho que vamos pelo bom caminho. Onde viste essa informação?
