Drivers AMD (ATI) - Discussão Geral

Boas tinha a versão 17.9.3 e os fps no cs go não tinha quebras nem nada actualizei para a 17.11.1 e tenho imensas quebras de fps e após instalar a 17.9.3 de novo tenho o mesmo problema alguém me pode ajudar a resolver isto =? tenho uma rx 570 ja actualizei para a 17.7.2 ou a 17.9.3 e continuo com poucos fps ESTAVA COM 260-300 tudo no maximo fico com 90-160

@ObscureAngel eu hoje de manha tinha a driver 17.9.3 e actualizei e antes de actualizar nao tinha problemas de fps a entrar em servers com 30 pessoas e isso e apos isso ja á instalei e o problema persiste ja instalei umas quantas drivers e não sei o que mais fazer
 
Sim e instalei a 17.7.2 que tenho agora mas continuo na mesma e agora meti a que tinha antes depois de fazer o ddu

Então possivelmente não está relacionado com as drivers, pode ter sido mera coincidência ter acontecido agora, mas pode ter sido outra coisa para além das drivers.

Sim @ObscureAngel Gigantes mesmo. Era tipo Johny baione a dizer: "vá beber um cafezinho. Fazer um . Bla Bla Bla."
Parte boa é que com duas rx 480 de 8gb dava 60fps á rasquinha a uma resolução de 5760x1080 a very high/ultra penso. E com uma vega 64 dá perto de 80 em ultra.

Fixed Issues:

  • Resizing the Radeon Settings window may cause the UI to restart or hang with HBCC enabled.
Known Issues:
  • Upgrading Radeon Software with Radeon RX Vega series graphics products in multi GPU on X99 chipsets may cause system instability after reboot.
  • Radeon Settings may experience a hang when enabling AMD CrossFire with three or more graphics products.
  • Performance Metrics Overlay may hang if enabled when cycling display power off and on.
  • Trimming videos may fail to create a thumbnail if the video contains non-English characters.
  • 3x1 display configurations may experience instability during Eyefinity creation or during gaming.
  • The "Reset" function in Radeon Settings for Display, ReLive, and Video may not work as intended when using Radeon Settings in certain regional languages.
  • Radeon WattMan may intermittently fail to load profiles for Radeon RX Vega on the global Radeon Wattman page.
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ may experience an intermittent application hang during gameplay.
  • A random system hang may be experienced after extended periods of use on system configurations using 12 GPU's for compute workloads.
  • The GPU Workload feature may cause a system hang when switching to Compute while AMD CrossFire is enabled. A workaround is to disable AMD CrossFire before switching the toggle to Compute workloads.

Realmente apenas parece uma grande mudança mas a nivel de software. Mas de qualquer das maneiras gostei desta:

Já estava farta que sempre que desinstalava as drivers e metia umas novas ter que fazer o OC todo de novo.
 
Eu nem uso o wattman para fazer OC pois existe um bug que faz com que o GPU deixe de se comportar corretamente. Por exemplo, quando faço OC pelo wattman, depois se correr um benchmark ou jogo, os resultados são de perdas acima dos 30 fps. Ao monitorizar o uso do GPU, temperaturas, clocks etc, está tudo aparentemente normal, no entanto o resultado final (fps) é horrivel.

Isto não acontece com softwares de terceiros como o Afterburner ou o Trixx da Sapphire.

Tenho de experimentar estas drivers para ver se o problema se mantem... Depois dou feedback :)
 
Já testei, mas não fiz comparativos de performance, para já notei foi latências melhores ou seja melhores frame-times, mas sem testes comparativos é dificil dizer se não será apenas Placebo.
