@PanterA Li algures que o AC Origins tinha problemas com os SSDs, seja como for o que tens parece-me freezes enormes, se fores testar se é disso ou não, testa já com as 18.8.1, assim há uma enorme descrepância entre as atuais e as anteriores, pode ser que faça diferença.

Também os duplos drms e todas essas tralhas que fica a comer recursos em background não ajuda muito. Mas pronto, isto já é um bocado offtopic.
Daqui a nada já meto esses 18.8.1 e pode ser que resolva, o que não creio.
 
Claramente o denuvo come alguns recursos, mas nada como o Voski certamente fazia querer.
Ainda à uns tempos quando o DOOM levou o denuvo removido, alguém fez um teste, e a perca de framerate foi minima causada pelo Denuvo, mas foi claramente CPU Bound.

O AC Origins usa muito CPU por natureza normal já dele, da mesma maneira que o Watch Dogs 2 usava e que o novo AC ainda vai usar, há simplesmente demasiadas coisas a acontecer no AC Origins, e muita soft physics aplicada à roupa, tecidos, NPCs e um draw distance até cair de cu, junta isso mais ao facto de a AMD em DX11 ser péssima a lidar com um abuso de draw calls no ecrã e tens a resposta.
A ubisoft chegou a pronunciar-se dizendo que este AC Origins era planeado receber DX12 mas depois acabaram por adiar e mais tarde desistir da ideia, mesmo o Watch Dogs 2 já era para ter recebido DX12 de forma a aliviar a carga, tinha sido anunciado quando efetuaram parceria com a AMD, porém meses depois pouco antes do lançamento a Ubisoft anunciou que tinha anunciado a parceria com a nvidia e desistido da AMD e o jogo já não foi lançado com DX12, mas sim com DX11 e um molho de gameworks associado.

A partir daqui cada um tira as conclusões que quiserem. XD
 
Eu quando comprei a 480 em detrimento da 1060 foi mesmo pelo seu future proof de ser ainda melhor em dx12 e ter os tais 8GB de VRAM. A questão é que esse future proof com o dx12 nunca chega. Tirando o Doom com o Vulkan que foi um caso único e estou a ver que irreplicável, tudo o resto acho que ainda não consegui tirar 100% proveito dela.
 
Tens o wolfenstein também, mas não contes muito com o Rage 2 dado que vai usar o APEX (motor do just Cause 4).
Os 8GB vais sempre tirar partido dela, já o DX12 possivelmente vai ser algo que vai demorar um bocado, seja a termos de quantidade, seja a termos de qualidade.

Não esquecer dos Forza Horizon, que dão-se extremamente bem em performance com a AMD.
 
Quando o DX12 começar a ser usado com frequência e melhor optimizado, já devo ter a minha 480 super desactualizada. Isso é que me vai deixar lixado. :P
 
@PanterA Não duvides, e só vai acontecer quando a nvidia começar a ter gráficas em condições também para tal XD
A não ser que o marketshare da AMD inverte-se drásticamente e era preciso ter em consideração que os jogos também levam tempo a desenvolver :D
 
Bem, eu não tive boa experiência com os 18.8.1
A minha Vega com o eyefinity ativo empancava o GTA 5 e ficava com o PC pronto para force reboot. :(
Tive de voltar ao 18.7.1
