Toshiba, claiming third place on the market french laptops with 11% market share, spring attack with a refreshing range of its public Satellite: new design and new chassis with up-to-page configurations, to follow the latest market developments, including the emergence of processors Penryn, engraved in 45 nanometers, at Intel. The spearhead of the offer public Toshiba will soon coming weeks around the A300 (15.4 inches), P300 (17 inches) and U400 (13.3 inches).
The entire range now has a black lacquered frames inside (glossy) paired with a striped outer hull of horizontal stripes, in the middle of which a large throne always Toshiba logo. Accusing nearly 2 kg on the scale, the U400 succeeds logically at U300, with a price roughly equivalent performance. Intel Core 2 Duo (T5550 or T8100), 2 or 3 gigabytes of RAM, 250 to 320 GB of storage and graphics controller integrated GMA X3100 make up the heart of this machine on which we find WiFi, Bluetooth and DVD. The autonomy according to Toshiba amount to four hours with the battery provided six cells.
