A Sony lançou uma nova versão do VAIO TP, seu PC para home theaters, com leitor de Blu-ray podemos assistir a filmes na resolução full 1080p em HDTV ou monitor com porta HDMI. Ele vem equipado com os novos processadores Core 2 Duo de 45 nn da Intel, com uma velocidade de 2.1 GHz, e um HD de 500 GB.
Usando a função CEC HDMI, podemos controlar TV's, amplificadores e outros aparelhos diretamente do seu comando. O modelo premium vem com um receptor CableCARD para podermos assistir e gravar a programação HD simultaneamente.
Os preços lá fora são US$ 1.600 pelo modelo básico VGX-TP20E (branco) e US$ 3.000 pelo modelo premium VGX-TP25E (preto).

Nao deve ter slots pci disponiveis, pelo menos pela arquitectura da caixa nao aparente, e infelizmente, pelo q sei, o modelo hd nao ha em versão usb.

Parece-me uma peça bastante engraçada, mas é demasiado cara...
