- Versions of Visual Studio .Net infected by Nimda (06/17/02).
According to an article released by Eweek (at
http://www.eweek.com/article/0,3658,s=712&a=28166,00.asp), Microsoft has
reported that Korean language versions of Visual Studio .Net, had shipped
with a file contaminated with the Nimda worm. Even though the file is not
used by the application, which minimizes the risk of infection, Microsoft
has released a patch which includes the tool without the infected file.
