Lisbon, 9 March 2009 – Vodafone exclusively launches tomorrow the Vodafone Visual Voice Mail, a service for the iPhone available for the first time in Portugal, enabling customers to access the list of voice messages and other Voice Mail options on their phone screen.
Vodafone Portugal customers who use this service can view all their Voice Mail messages on the screen of their iPhone, and can listen to them, delete them or return them, and even record a new greeting. It is also possible to add new contacts and send SMS from Voice Mail messages.
The use and activation of this service, like the existing Voice Mail, are free.
All Vodafone Portugal customers who use an iPhone can use the service immediately. They simply need to update the phone’s network definitions from iTunes.
The pioneering launch of Visual Voice Mail is part of Vodafone’s strategy of continuous innovation intended to develop and make available the best communications services to its customers. Vodafone customers will now benefit from enhanced communication on the iPhone 3G, supported by the high quality, capacity and speed of the Vodafone network.
