WD 500Gb - Delayed Write Failed

Olá pessoal estou com um grave problema!

Tenho um disco externo WD My Book 500Gb novo. Mas estou com uns problemas no PC.

-Quando ligo ao windows XP funciona ás mil maravilhas....
-Quando ligo ao windows 2000 que é onde preciso de trabalhar com ele... da-me erro quando tento criar/mover uma nova pasta/ficheiro/etc...

O ERRO é este:

Go to Device Manager or START>RUN and then type control sysdm.cpl and System Properties opens up.
Go to Hardware and expand the Disk Drives. Right click on the drive causing the issues and select Properties. Under the Policies tab, DESELECT the <Enable write-caching on the disk> and that should solve your probs.
