In this week's issue of Famitsu magazine, Marvelous Entertainment unveiled a few more details on Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga, the first Wii game in an action RPG series that's been PSP-exclusive up to now. The title will go on sale this summer in Japan, although no formal US release announcement has been made.

As before, Eldar Saga is set in a world populated by a variety races, from human to dwarf and halfling. The hero (which is one of those strong, extremely silent JRPG types that you get to name) begins the game stumbling into the Lost Woods nearby the elves' homeland, where he's saved from doom by a fetching elf named Orphelia. From there, he embarks on all manner of adventures, with quests unfolding pretty much as they did in the PSP games. Wi-Fi support is in the works, allowing two players to co-op their way through the missions (including some online-only ones).

Espero que realmente se verifique. Era bom estar cá antes do final do ano, ou seja, antes dos grandes nomes saírem.

Os scans têm bom aspecto, dentro das limitações já apontadas.

Hmmm.... :wvsore: Sinceramente ainda não sei muito bem o que esperar daqui...
Já há vídeos mais recentes ou datas concretas? O online já sabia mas.. é sempre bom ver a coisa em funcionamento.
 
Nope :( Após ouvir comentários sobre o jogo, decidi esperar e ver como se comportava este. No entanto, sou capaz de adquirir o segundo jogo já que se diz que teve uma boa evolução e que "é bem diferente" do primeiro. Entretanto estou à espera que isto me cative mais..
 
Com tanta escolha que há para o meu bolso nos próximos tempo, este acaba de sair da lista já apertada :p

Boa sorte para o jogo no entanto, talvez haja mais esforço noutro título (novo).

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga continues the series trademark of no random encounters while updating the real-time battle system to now include battles taking place on the world map instead of a separate battle screen for a seamless experience.

XSEED Games partnered with Marvelous Entertainment USA to secure the North America rights to publish and distribute Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga. This title is being developed by K2 and KUROGANE and will be available during summer 2009 exclusively for Wii.

Vá, não sejam mauzinhos; não está no mesmo patamar... certo, mas os Valhalla Knights da PSP não eram maus jogos... Tem carradas de texto e a XSEED está claramente a fazer um claro esforço para o trazer antes do Monster Hunter 3 sair na América, acho que estão a tomar a opção correcta.

Não é ser mauzinho... este terá os seus pontos fortes (online) e não os discuto, mas no geral compará-lo ao Arc Rise... não me parece.

A unica comparação possivel é... se a XSEED anda a fazer traduções e lançamento em simultaneo com a data Japonesa... Era muito bom que metessem essa pipeline a funcionar com o Arc Rise Fantasia :drooling:

O segundo é bom como o 1º, apenas não tem e tantos pontos de teleport por isso tem de se andar mais o que é chato, mas as classes e raças estão melhor definidas.

O jogo parece me bem a história parece que foi mais desenvolvida que nos anteriores, como já tinha dito o sistema de combate também foi mudado mas também parece bom, e com o coop deve ser excelente, mas isto também é a minha opinião que joguei os outros e gostei muito, os gráficos poderiam estar muito melhores, mas como não ligo muito quando o jogo em si é bom se tivesse uma wii acho que este era quase compra certa.
