Boas pessoal,

Desde há uns tempos que estou com um problema e, se possível, precisava da vossa ajuda...

É o seguinte, tenho um PC portátil com o Windows 10 e desde há uns tempos que ele "engasga-se todo".
Costumo jogar dois jogos, o Forge of Empires e o Goal United, e, principalmente no FOE, encrava com bastante frequência. Chega a ser irritante.

Quando estou a utilizar o PC para outras funções parece tudo normal, mas a jogar é uma lástima. O PC tem 8GB de RAM e um disco SSD de 256GB.

O que poderá ser?
Há uns tempos atrás isto aconteceu, fiz a tradicional limpeza (apaguei quase 2GB de lixo) e o problema desapareceu por bastante tempo. Agora voltou e teima em ficar....

O disco tem 107GB livres.

Já passei o anitivirus (AVG) várias vezes (nunca encontrou ameaças) , instalei o Malwarebites e fiz a análise, encontrou 13 ameaças que removi para a quarentena...

Já não sei o que fazer mais!!

Ah!! E isto acontece tanto no Chrome como no Edge.

Pode ser muita coisa. Detalha os componentes principalmente o cpu e gpu. AVG? Epa isso nao presta e se o malwarebites entrou 13 ameaças, recomendo ja a formatação/instalacao nova do Sistema Operativo e tem cuidado a sacar coisas de sites não confiaveis.
Formatar era a ultima coisa que eu queria, mas se tiver de ser....

Há algum software que eu possa usar para testar a máquina? Tem dias que "anda melhorzinho" e tem outros dias que é bastante irritante estar a usar o PC.

O teu problema é o CPU, i7 7500u dual core, que não vale nada - Eu sei, tenho um Transformer 3 da Asus com o i7 7500u arrumado, nem me atrevi a vender esse cancro.
Tentei de tudo, especialmente undervolting para evitar o thermal-throtling porque esse CPU aquece muito e afunda o desempenho.

O 6300u é ligeiramente pior, se colocados num chassis pequeno/estreito e utilizando a vga integrada acabam por afundar-se a eles próprios.

É um ASUS K556U. Tem apenas 2 anos (mais ou menos).

O engraçado é depois da última atualização do Windows 10 ele ficou impecável. Mas ao fim de uns dias voltou ao mesmo...

Tenho pensado em formatar o PC a ver se resolve alguma coisa, mas essa será sempre a minha última opção.

Se tivesse menos de 2 anos o melhor que poderias fazer era devolver isso e pedir o dinheiro de volta.
Esse CPU é mesmo muito mau e não dá para trocar.

Formatar seria uma boa opção, depois instala os drivers das vgas na ordem correcta: Intel primeiro, Nvidia depois.

Quando estiver tudo instalado, atribui os jogos ou o browser ao Adaptador de Alto Desempenho(Nvidia)
