Para mim vai ser:

Warriors - tank all around
Druid - offtank
Pala - aoe tank
DK - spell mitigation tank

A Blizzard já deu a entender que será este o caso. O Death Knight vai ser mais virado para tank de caster mobs/bosses.

O meu entender é que isto será uma afinação mais para raids. Para 5 mans, sinceramente, acho que mais uma tanking class, especialmente uma que não tenha de fazer respec para o ser, é sem dúvida bem vinda.

Outro pormenor referido num post qq que li, é que a Blizz está a estudar formas de tornar mais viáveis a solo as típicas classes/specs de tank, nomeadamente através do aumento do dps (muito possivelmente qq coisa ao nível do que aconteceu com o gear de +healing, através da adição de +spell dmg).
 
Isso não era nada mau...pq farmar como prot warrior doí mas doí q se farta...prot pala e feral druid não sofrem desse pormenor, mas warrior é de ir às lágrimas...então se for num server pvp ui...
 
Eu faço as dailies com um prot warrior, nunca tive razões de queixa em relação ao dps do meu prot warrior.

Quanto aos DK, não me parece que venham a ser main tanks. Poderam tankar em situações especificas no entanto (spell dmg).
Provavelmente terão menos health/armor que os druids, e os druids tem dificultade no main tanking devido a spikes no dmg (crushing blows por exemplo).

Não há dificuldades nenhumas. Podemos ter mais spike damage mas se estamos num role de MT vamos levar com heals até dizer chega e a nossa health pool dá-nos, e a healers minimamente competentes, um buffer considerável de segurança. Além disso, a elevada percentagem de dmg mitigation através de armor suaviza consideravelmente isso.
Os crushings que levo pouca mossa fazem, mas eu também já estou muito perto do armor cap. Feral tanks foram "feitos" para comer crushings e nunca tive qualquer problema nesse capítulo.
Resumindo e concluindo, com excepção de lutas especificamente desenhadas para quem use escudo ;), não há nada que um warrior tank que um feral druid não possa tankar também.

PS: Com health pool suficientemente grande, acima de 23k salvo erro, até o Kael pode ser tankado por um feral druid ... E esse tipo foi a 56% na semana passada. Não há-de passar desta :D
 
Ainda noutro dia tive em off tank no Supremos a levar com os hateful strikes, e safei-me na boa. 23k hp

Já tankei todos bosses em ssc, tk (menos hydross vash / kael(nunca fomos lá)) e nunca tive probs.

O problema dos druids tank está longe de ser os crushings dado que estão no cap do armor, o problema é o dodge. Tanto podes passar uma luta inteira sem levares um hit e não ganhas rage, como levas uma série de porrada de enfiada(viva às probabilidades).

Geração de rage de um feral tank não é idêntica à de um warrior. É uma das razões porque dificilmente vês um warrior em papel de OT.

Eu como não tenho NR ou FR gear não tanko o Hydross (também convinha dar algo que fazer aos outros 2 prot warriors :-D). Regra geral estou a tankar 1 ou 2 adds consoante o nº de tanks que levamos.
A Vashj tankas na boa, aliás poupas os BoP cooldowns dos palas porque podes fazer powershift para saires das roots -> charge antes que ela veja que não tá ninguém ao perto e começe a dizimar a party. :002:

Blood Gorged When you are above 75% health, you do an additional 3% damage with any melee weapon

DancingRuneblade Summons a second Runeblade that fights on its own for 1 secper 10 Runic Power, doing the same strikes that you do

Gostava que isso fosse verdade mas quando olho para os talentos de warrior parece-me altamente improvável. E também quem raio quer jogar com um urso se podes usar two handeds em cada mão =D
