Estava a abrir um .avi e pum isto reiniciou com pesquisa de consistência num dos discos.

Como podem ver as WUs foram paradas à pressão e no entanto elas não desapareceram nem começaram de novo.
Como podem ver qd digo que não costumo ter problemas é pq realemente não costumo.

Infelizmente ficou tudo mal por aqui.
Diz que não coincide o trabalho.
No task manager tinha aparentemente 6 WU a foldar.
Apageui o core78.exe e reiniciou uma das WUs. A ontra nem para trás nem para a frente.
O reboot deu-me cabo disto tudo

No outro dia faltou a luz de noite aki em casa e qd acordei o PC tava desligado. Pensei logo na WU..mas não..tava td bem

afinal smp te acontecem tb destes problemas
a mim smp q isto é reiniciado involuntariament ...puf..lá se vai a WU .. :die:

Estive aqui a ver e antes eu usava a flag -local. Deixei de usar pq não me parecia importante.

Voltei a reler istoc com olhos de ver e decidi voltar a colocar:

-local
Use configuration files from local directory. This option has no meaning on Linux, but is vital on Windows and Macintosh for running multiple clients on a machine. It instructs the client to read its config information from the client.cfg file in the current directory rather than, on Windows, from the installation directory specified in the registry, or, on Macintosh, the Library/Folding@home directory. Information such as the user name, team name, proxy information, machine ID are maintained in the client.cfg file. The flag ensures that work does not conflict. Use "-local" only if you are planning on running more than one instance of Folding@Home on the same machine (this is only useful if you are running on a multi-processor machine). Create as many directories as there are processors on the machine, copy the exe files and client.cfg file into each of these directories, run "FAH3Console -local -config" on each and specify unique machine IDs for each directory (under the Advanced Settings option). From then onwards you may run each copy by switching to its directory and running with the -local flag.

A parte que meti a negrito chamou-me à atenção. Para quem tem P4 com HT talvez seja aqui que tenha chatices. pelo que li do que me aconteceu pareceu-me que o que aconteceu é que o programa foi ler a info a outro sitio. Talvez assim tudo se tivesse evitado.
Já está a foldar novamente é o que interessa. Mas 1200 pts deixam qq um deprimido

eu tinha processado uma das de 300 e tal pontos.. Pelos vistos ja ta a trabalhar noutra,e as stats nao foram alteradas (ja passou algumas horas)! sera que ainda esta na linha de espera para enviar? como posso ver? Ou perdia-a mesmo?

Essa workunit ficou em espera. Não me parece que haja qq problema. Ela será enviada depois
