"New info based released on Microsoft & Konami secret project
An article has been debunked from a so called “Red Archive Defused” containing some details on the “The Red Mist” horror novel game.
Notice that we don´t know if it all is true or not since both Microsoft and Konami have been trying to keep a closed range on the project.
- The Red Mist is part of a only and single piece game, no sequels or prequels intended. It will be only story driven with a main focus on detail, narration and emotion.
- The gameplay will take around 20 hours to finish (campaign only) no online modes or DLC add on to attach.
- You will play with only one character, a traumatized young girl named Jade. The game will evolve around the fight between sanity vs. Insanity. There will be at least two endings, regarding the way ou choose to play, the choices you take and it´s consequences.
- Action will play a short role, there will be not many fights or physical confrontations, it will be mainly focused on mystery solving, equilibrium, riddles and engaging exploration, plus fully interaction with other characters and with the scenery, in order to progress through.
- A new engine is being used as main engine of development to sustain a wider representation of photomotion in all characters and sceneries, as being part of a real playable movie.
- The game will only come out on Xbox 360 due to the fact that the console´s hardware specif. are the best frame to fully flow all the projection and details the game requires. As a previous PS3 debut showed the machine wasn´t fully able to work out all of the technical debuts of the concept. A new prog-tool is now a main resource on the Xbox 360 game console to provide the best experience to date.
- The Red Mist, has been in devolvement for Xbox 360 since 2007, with no perditions of a finishing roam at sight.
- All work is being proceeded over the Konami of America team along with Microsoft Studio Games technologies."
