To be precise, OutRun Online Arcade is a conversion of the OutRun 2 SP arcade machine, with its all-new American-themed courses (which were presented alongside the original OutRun 2 set in OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast) and slipstreaming technique. Like the previous home versions, the SEGA AM2 game has been ably and meticulously converted by Sheffield's Sumo Digital. Unlike them, it features no cunning challenge or mission modes, no delicious breadcrumb-trails of unlockable ephemera - from new car models to original chiptune music to improbable guest tracks from Daytona and Scud Race - to extend its lifespan and perceived value.

That's a slightly disorientating disappointment, but only at first. True to its price (800 Microsoft Points or 10 euros), its source material, its platforms and its title, OutRun Online Arcade is an arcade game through and through. It doesn't need structural longevity, fan service or feature creep. It needs leaderboards, multiplayer, a sophisticated scoring mechanic, and every second of gameplay to be tuned to perfection. It has all these things.

Também estou para ver como estará o jogo após jogar. Grande vício na altura, especialmente a versão da Sega Saturn. :x2:

? Só está a ser feito um OutRun de momento, este que aqui está sai para o XBLA e PSN :)
O jogo está a ser feito pelos gajos que meteram o Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast cá fora. Este vai tentar voltar às origens, seguindo-se pela versão Arcade que deu fama ao jogo.
 
A data mantêm-se Spring 2009, a SEGA não colocou nova data com os últimos lançamentos de imagens.

Atenção que o novo vídeo é leaked e pelos vistos é já a versão de teste para as reviews e testers, portanto acredito que fins de Março/ínicio de Abril ele apareça por cá.

OutRun Release Details

SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced that OutRunTM Online Arcade - SEGA’s classic arcade racer, this time in stunning High Definition and with Online Multiplayer - will be available via Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® on 15th April 2009. The PlayStation® Network version will be available April 16th 2009.

OutRun Online Arcade will be available for a price of 800 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE® Arcade and the PlayStation Network version will be available for £7.99 / €9.99 in the PlayStation® Store.

For the first time on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, OutRun Online Arcade delivers online multiplayer racing for up to 6 players. With a choice of fast paced modes including OutRun, Heart Attack and Time Attack modes, the draw to the open road has never been so appealing. Both versions of OutRun Online Arcade will for the first time ever support voice chat and leaderboards. This way you can prove you are truly the best at one of SEGA’s greatest games

Comprado de manhã e até agora, valeu bem os 800 Pontos. Os gráficos é de facto outra coisa em movimento! :D Não tive possibilidade de confirmar como estava a componente audio.. já ouvi dizer que a música está algo comprimida.. (estou sem ligação às colunas).
 
O audio parece um bocado ranhoso, e algum do texto está pixelizado...

Tive mesmo a ponderar a compra antes, mas se só tem Ferraris não quero :P
