Virtual-On was a critical and popular hit in Japan, and something of a cult classic in America. The game is best known for it's controllers, two large twin sticks with a single fire button on each. Oratorio Tangram is an update to Virtual-On and features two new mechs and revised play mechanics. Although the arcade version saw limited distribution in the U.S., it was an instant classic on both sides of the Pacific.

Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram isn't the typical fighting game by any stretch of the imagination. You pilot a giant Gundam-like machine in a 3-D arena armed with three different weapons which can have altering effects depending on the situation their employed and the movement of your mecha. The game is one of a handful which supports the Dreamcast link cable, so you if you have it and can find two sets of twin sticks, you can really enjoy the arcade in your homes, which is helpful since only five of the arcade cabinets actually made it to the US.

Features:

-M.S.B.S. ver5.66 Virtualoids included: RVR-12 Apharmd C, MBV-04-10 10/80SP, SBV-328-B Stein-Vok. 15 total
-Xbox Live online battle mode worldwide, 2-P System Link as well
-Custom coloring in Original Mode
-HD rez and graphical improvements

Detalhes e possivelmente, outros jogos Dreamcast à vista!

It's true. Sega is bringing Virtual On Oratorio Tangram, its hardcore arcade mech fighting game, to Xbox Live Arcade. The re-release has been officially announced in the latest issue of Japan's Famitsu Weekly.

The Xbox 360 release will be Cyber Troopers Virtual On Oratorio Tangram version 5.66, the final release for Sega's NAOMI arcade platform, released in 2000. The Xbox Live Arcade release, slated for April, has already been priced at 1200 Microsoft Points according to the mag.

Hopefully, the official announcement of VOOT means that more of Sega's Dreamcast and NAOMI titles are en route. After all, Sega registered the trademark for Virtual On Oratorio Tangram in December, alongside a slew of other Dreamcast era games over the past six months.

Those include ChuChu Rocket, Cosmic Smash, Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Shuffle and more. Sega has yet to confirm a re-release of any of those titles, however.

SEGA finalmente confirma o jogo!

Preview:

It's worth noting that a posting at the game's official site regarding the possible release of an actual Twin Stick peripheral says that Sega is looking into the matter and does not yet have anything to announce. That doesn't sound like a complete denial, so perhaps we can count on some sort of limited solution (at least give us an official adapter, Sega, so our Saturn and Dreamcast Twin Sticks will be revived!).

(...)

Based off our short play test, the Xbox Live Arcade version of Virtual On Oratorio Tangram is going to be worth the 1,200 Microsoft Point asking price. The game offers up lots of modes, as you can see in our past previews, and appears to have a level of polish that most full releases strive for. We'll have a full review closer to the final release, but definitely keep an eye on this one.

experimentei a demo ontem à noite.

fiz 4-5 combates.
fechei e apaguei a demo :o
