The Bottom Line

It is not often that the MSRP of a product is lower than it's retail or street price, but that is the case with the Sapphire's RADEON X1650 PRO. It does not have the performance to justify a $129.99 price tag, when a GeForce 7600 can so dramatically outstrip it for nearly the same price. If and when its price comes down to a realistic range, it will be a good video card at a good price. Right now, though, it is merely a mediocre video card at a high price.

Performance Summary: The HIS X1650 Pro IceQ Turbo performed as we expected it would. When compared to the ATI Radeon X1600 Pro, the HIS X1650 Pro showed measurable performance gains thanks to its higher-clocked GPU and faster GDDR3 memory. Higher clock speeds and increased memory bandwidth helped to narrow the lead of the GeForce 7600 GT as well, most notably at higher resolutions, but the GeForce 7600 GT was still the top performer in all tests.

If you look at the performance numbers you can see that the Sapphire X1300 XT OC has almost exactly the same performance as the X1650 Pro

http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/388/12/

X1650 should be a tad faster as it will still have a very hard time competing with NVIDIA's similar priced GeForce 7600 GS line of products.

Although I haven't tested it against GeForce 7600 GS it's clear that the difference between X1600 XT and X1650 PRO is marginal, next to nothing.

Ate pode ser superior no papel........

Para isso compras uma 7600GS. Se fica ao nível da x1650Pro e consome 35W em vez de 120W, faz as contas e diz-me o que te sai mais barato (arranjas 7600GS a 130€)
