Aviso: Portáteis Fujitsu-Siemens Mx438G com grave defeito

Fica aqui um aviso para quem esteja a pensar comprar um desta gama.
Começou basicamente com um user do forum notebookforums.com que notou "freezes" repetidos no laptop qdo ouvia musica ou jogava. Em certos jogos e musicas via-se lag de 5 em 5 segundos. Ele tratou de juntar o maior numero possivel de possuidores destes portateis e apresentar o caso á Fujitsu-Siemens.

"brrr"-sound issue
Symptom: a buzzing sound which can impact the audio and modem throughput.
Solution: NVIDIA provides a technical bulletin regarding this issue and according to NVIDIA this bug will not be fixed in future. Please refer to NVIDIA Buletin:

Second freezer/game issue
Installation of gaming software on both desktop and notebooks might require an adjustment to the settings, particularly in video/graphic settings as most of the 3D games have their own graphic settings which will influence game performance. In addition, please note that most current 3D games are typically designed for desktop high-end systems. Due to form factor, there are differences in components that are used for notebooks than for desktops. Mobile components might not have the identical performance in comparison to their desktop component counterparts, even when manufactures provide components with similar sounding names. (GeForce Go 6800 differs from other GeForce XX 6800). In addition, there can be performance differences in components due to a mobile nature: different performance data of 2½ / 3¼ hard drives with different rpm and throughput data.
In doing extensive research with our suppliers and gaming companies, we have been able to determine that the issue the forum has pointed out is an industry issue, and not one that is specific to Fujitsu Siemens Computers or its products.

There is no fix for this issue, as it is a specific determination of components for a notebook system. The usage of these components offers specific benefits to notebook users that include thing like: battery life, form factor, portability and connectivity.

Ora se dizem que o portatil não é para substituir o desktop e não é suposto jogar ou ouvir musica nele como é que lhe poem uma 6800 Go 6800... lol

Como é que um portatil considerado high-end não serve para jogos e musica!!! Que ridiculo...
E os users estão a dizer que não é possivel recuperarem o dinheiro. Aqui fica a opinião de um deles:

Eu comprei um portátil no fim do ano passado e tive indeciso entre comprar um Fujitsu Amilo ou um Toshiba mas tive uma sorte descomunal e qd fui la comprar o portátil encontrei um colega meu que eu nem sabia que trabalhava lá que me disse que todos os portáteis Amilo que tinham vendido (e estou a falar de uma Worten) tinham mais cedo ou mais tarde ido la parar outra vez devido a problemas vários.

Fujitsu-Siemens (neste momento) = Big NO NO...

Eu só posso dizer bem da Fujitsu-siemens, comprei um portatil S7010D por €799 no *****, e até hoje acho que foi a melhor aquisição que alguma vez fiz (talvez por causa do preço !). Já o tenho a 4 meses e nunca tive um único problema.

É um Centrino a 1.6 mas por vezes até parece mais veloz que o meu desktop P4 2.66.
