O Castle Combat é como um típico jogo de tabuleiro tipo xadrez onde dois jogadores se enfrentam para tentar conquistar o castelo adversário.

The Game Boards
You can play Castle Combat on a number of different, pre-built game boards. The boards are made up of different terrain tiles, which may affect things like army movement and combat. However, another great feature that Castle Combat has to offer is the Board Creator. Not only can you completely customize the rules, but you can also create your own game boards!
At the start of the game you'll place your armies on the board in designated tiles, and then drag and drop them to advance and retreat them from the enemy. As you enter combat with your opponent, your armies will be revealed and the loser gets removed from the board. You'll need to pay close attention to the board, piece movement, special abilities and what armies have been revealed in order to strategically outmaneuver your opponent. You'll have a number of units at your command during the game. Each of these units has different properties: movement, power and sometimes special abilities.

How It Is Played
Castle Combat is played on a board made up of hexagonal terrain tiles. You will place your armies onto the board in secret before the game starts, and they will remain hidden from your opponent until you enter combat. Each piece has different strengths and special abilities, and you will need to maneuver them strategically to both attack your opponent and defend your castle. When one side loses their castle they have lost the game.
The basic rules are very straightforward and you can learn this game in 5 minutes. However, because just about every setting in the game is customizable and because you can add over 20 different game variants during setup, the different combinations of possible games is nearly endless. This means that as you play different games, your strategies will have to change and evolve with the rules you have employed.
Your Own Pace
Castle Combat has two different game paces so you can play on your own schedule. Live games let you start playing immediately in real-time with your friends or with people you've just met. Games typically take around 20-30 minutes. You receive immediate updates when it's your turn. Casual games let you play at a more relaxed pace. You get updates via email to let you know it's your turn to log in and make your move. Enter the game lobby to find available games, or start one yourself!
In addition to selecting Live or Casual games, we'll also let you select the turn time limit. Want to play a really fast live game? You can do that. Want to play a really slow casual game? You can do that too. Play how you want.
